Jacqueline Joyner-Kersee is a retired American track and field athlete, ranked among the all-time greatest athletes in the heptathlon as well as long jump. She won three gold, one silver, and two bronze Olympic medals in those two events at four different Olympic Games. Sports Illustrated for Women magazine voted Joyner-Kersee the Greatest Female Athlete of All-Time. She is on the board of directors for USA Track & Field (U.S.A.T.F.), the national governing body of the sport.
Several species of heavy-bodied cyprinid fishes are collectively known in the United States as Asian carp. Cyprinids from the Indian subcontinent—for example, catla and mrigal —are not included in this classification and are known collectively as "Indian carp". Asian carp are considered invasive species in the United States. In June, 2022, the EPA funded initiative to rebrand Asian Carp as Copi was announced. The new name — Copi — is a part of the Federal and multi-state campaign to reintroduce the carps to the public as a healthy and responsible seafood option in order to decrease its numbers in U.S. waterways.
The Gangster Disciples also known as Growth & Development, are an African American street and prison gang, which was formed in 1969, by Larry Hoover and David Barksdale. The two rival gangsters united together to form the Black Gangster Disciple Nation (BGDN). Since 1989, after a decline in leadership caused friction between the two gangs, the BGDN has divided into different factions known today as the Gangster Disciples and the other being the Black Disciples.

Caren Marie Alexius Kemner is an American former volleyball player. Kemner played two seasons of college women's volleyball and softball at the University of Arizona. Among her accomplishments, Kemner competed with the United States women's national volleyball team in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, won the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and also played at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She was the International Volleyball Federation female player of the year in 1991.

The 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) (MC(DS)) is headquartered at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake City, Utah and manages all the Army Reserve deployable field medical units west of Ohio. There are over 11,000 Soldiers that comprise 116 subordinate units in the command. The command is separated into five brigades.
