Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) St. Alexius Health Bismarck is a regional, acute care medical center offering inpatient and outpatient medical services, including primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, medical equipment services, and a fitness and human performance center. It is a level II trauma center. With a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, ND, Dickinson, ND, Devils Lake, ND, Garrison, ND, Turtle Lake, ND, Washburn, ND and Williston, ND, and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, ND, Linton, ND and Wishek, ND, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, South Dakota.

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (ALGH) is a 645-bed non-profit teaching hospital located in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, Illinois. Founded in 1897, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is the sixth largest hospital in the Chicago area, and it operates a Level I trauma center. As of 2021, the AAH system has 26 hospitals and more than 500 sites of care, with 75,000 employees, including 10,000 employed physicians. The health system formed as a result of a merger between Illinois-based Advocate Health Care and Wisconsin-based Aurora Health Care. AAH is a teaching affiliate of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Presence Health was a health care system formed by the merger of two Chicago-area Catholic health care systems, Resurrection Health Care and Provena Health. At the time, Presence Health was the second-largest health care system in the Chicago metropolitan area. Presence Health was acquired by Ascension in 2018 and was integrated into AMITA Health. AMITA Health split up in 2022, and former Presence Health locations took on the Ascension name.

Advocate Christ Medical Center (ACMC) is a 788-bed teaching hospital located in Oak Lawn, Illinois a suburb of Chicago Founded in 1960, Advocate Christ Medical Center is a part of Advocate Aurora Health. In the most recent year with available data, the hospital had 40,517 admissions, 3,738 deliveries, 102,279 ED visits, 334,958 outpatient visits, and 24,745 surgeries. The emergency room includes a level 1 trauma center. The hospital operates a primary stroke center and a pulmonary rehabilitation center. ACMC operates a number of residency training and fellowship programs for newly graduated physicians, pharmacists and podiatrists. Each year, more than 400 residents, 600 medical students, and 800 nursing students train at the hospital. In 2016, ACMC opened a new eight story patient tower.
AMITA Health was an interfaith health system, a joint venture between Alexian Brothers Health System and Presence Health and Adventist Midwest Health. As of 2021, AMITA operated 19 hospitals and hundreds of medical offices, among other facilities. In 2022, the joint venture was broken up.
