A school uniform is a uniform worn by students primarily for a school or otherwise an educational institution. They are common in primary and secondary schools in various countries.
The Woodlands School is a public elementary and secondary school in Mississauga, Ontario, under the Peel District School Board. Single-sex education, also known as single-gender education and gender-isolated education, is the practice of conducting education with male and female students attending separate classes, perhaps in separate buildings or schools. The practice of single-sex schooling was common before the 20th century, particularly in secondary and higher education. Single-sex education in many cultures is advocated on the basis of tradition as well as religion, and is practiced in many parts of the world. Recently, there has been a surge of interest and establishment of single-sex schools due to educational research. Single-sex education is practiced in many Muslim majority countries; while in other parts of the world it is most popular in Chile, Israel, South Korea, and English-speaking countries such as Singapore, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. In the Western world, single sex education is primarily associated with the private sector, with the public (state) sector being overwhelmingly mixed sex; while in the Muslim world the situation is the opposite: public schools are usually single sex, while many private schools are mixed sex. Motivations for single sex education range from religious ideas of sex segregation to beliefs that the sexes learn and behave differently, and, as such, they thrive in a single sex environment. In the 19th century, in Western countries, single sex girls' finishing schools, and women's colleges offered women a chance of education at a time when they were denied access to mainstream educational institutions. The former were especially common in Switzerland, the latter in the US and the UK, which were pioneers in women's education.
The Similkameen River runs through southern British Columbia, Canada, eventually discharging into the Okanagan River near Oroville, Washington, in the United States. The river is said to be named for an indigenous people called Similkameigh, meaning "treacherous waters".
Scott County High School is a public high school in Georgetown, Kentucky, United States. The mascot is a Cardinal. School colors are Red and White with Blue serving as a secondary color. It consists of two separate schools—Scott County High School proper and Elkhorn Crossing School (ECS), a magnet-style "school within a school" that offers specialized STEM and media arts programs. ECS students split their school day between the main Scott County High campus and the separate ECS campus, located about a mile (1.6 km) away. In the 2018–19 school year, its last as the county's only public high school, the combined institution had an enrollment of 2,486, making it the largest high school in the state.

The name originated from the Similkameen dialect of the Okanagan language word "Keremeyeus" meaning "creek which cuts its way through the flats" referring to Keremeos Creek which flows down from the Upper Benchlands to the Similkameen River that runs by the village.

Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School is a vocational high school located in East Taunton, Massachusetts, United States, that has been in operation since September 1972. Bristol-Plymouth is one of the three high schools in the city of Taunton, and enrolls roughly 1,200 students in grades 9 through 12. Its main "maintenance department" office is held in Oliver, consisting of ten schools, five of which are elementary, three are high or secondary schools, while two are alternative schools. This district's superintendent is Beverly Young, while 2,665 students attend schools in it; there are 480 employees for the Okanagan Simlkammen school district. Their motto is "Learning Today for Living Tomorrow", and all places within the district are towns or villages.
Runnymede Collegiate Institute is a high school located on Jane Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school first opened in 1927 and is operated by the Toronto District School Board. Prior to 1998, the school was part of the Board of Education for the City of York. Mercy Cross High School was a private, Roman Catholic high school in Biloxi, Mississippi, founded in 1981. It was the merger of two other high schools in Biloxi, Sacred Heart High School and Notre Dame High School. Sacred Heart was the all-girls school while Notre Dame was the all-boys school. Mercy Cross was the co-ed merger of the two. The name, Mercy Cross, was derived from the Sisters of Mercy and the Brothers of the Holy Cross, who taught students at schools in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi for decades. Feeder schools included Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary, Our Lady of Fatima Elementary, Sacred Heart Elementary, and St. Alphonsus Elementary.
