Simon Ejua is a Ugandan politician. He was the state minister for transport in the Ugandan Cabinet from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. [1] He survived the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009. [2] In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Stephen Chebrot [3] He also served as the elected Member of Parliament, representing Vurra County, Arua District, from 2006 until 2011. In the 2011 national elections, he lost his parliamentary seat to Sam Agatre Okuonzi, an independent politician, who is the incumbent MP for that constituency. [4]
He was born in Arua District on 3 August 1968. He holds a Uganda Diploma in Business Studies, obtained in 1993 from the Uganda College of Commerce, which became the Makerere University Business School in 1997. In 2000, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting from Makerere University. He went on to obtain a postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from Uganda Martyrs University, in 2003. He also holds a postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology, obtained in 2003 from Fintech Business Technology Solutions.
In 1994, Simon Ejua worked as a market inspector in Arua District. In 1995, he worked for five months as the assistant bursar at St. Charles Lwanga Secondary School in Koboko, Koboko District. Later in 1995, he was appointed an auditor in the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda, working in that capacity until 2005. He entered politics in 2006, contesting for the parliamentary seat of Vurra County, Arua District. He was elected on the National Resistance Movement political party ticket. He was appointed to his present cabinet post in 2006. He lost both his parliamentary seat and his cabinet post on 18 March 2011 [4] and 27 May 2011, [3] respectively.
James Nsaba Buturo is a Ugandan politician. He was the Minister of State for Ethics & Integrity in the Office of the Vice President in the Cabinet of Uganda from 1 June 2006 until his resignation on 15 March 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, his docket was assigned to Father Simon Lokodo. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament representing "Bufumbira County East", Kisoro District, from 2001 until 2011. In the 2011 national elections, Nsaba Buturo lost in the primaries to Wagahugu Kwizera of the National Resistance Movement political party, who is the incumbent MP for that constituency. Nsaba Buturo insisted on contesting the general elections as an Independent candidate; but he still lost.
Syda Namirembe Bbumba is a Ugandan accountant, politician and banker. She served in the Cabinet of Uganda as Minister of Energy and Minerals from 2002 to 2006, Minister of Gender, Labor and Social Development from 2006 to 2008, Minister of Finance from 2009 to 2011, and Minister of Gender, Labor and Social Development again from 2011 to 2012. Hope Ruhindi Mwesigye is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. She is the former Minister for Agriculture, Animal Industry & Fisheries, from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011. Prior to that, she served as the State Minister for Local Government, from June 2006 until February 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, she was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Tress Bucyanayandi.

Before his service at the Gender Ministry, he served as the State Minister for Higher Education from June 2006 to February 2009.
Henry Aggrey Bagiire is a Ugandan politician and educator. He served as the State Minister for Agriculture in the Cabinet of Uganda from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Bunya County West, Mayuge District, from 2006 to 2009.
Frederick Douglas Mwanja Mukisa was a Ugandan educator and politician. He served as the State Minister for Fisheries in the Ugandan Cabinet, from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Ruth Nankabirwa. He also served in the elected Ugandan Parliament, representing "Bukooli County Central", Bugiri District, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national election cycle, he lost to Hajji Siraji Lyavala during the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries, who in turn lost to Wafula Oguttu of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), in the general election. In March 2015, Siraji Lyavala was elected Chairman (LC-5) of Bugiri District.
Bright Kanyontore Rwamirama is a Ugandan politician and retired army officer. He is the minister for animal industry in the Ugandan cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, that of 27 May 2011, and that of 1 March 2015, he retained his cabinet post. He also serves as the elected Member of Parliament representing "Isingiro County North", Isingiro District. He has served in that capacity continuously since 2001.
Simon Giw D'Ujanga is a Ugandan electrical engineer and politician. He is the current State Minister for Energy in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post. On account of his ministerial position, he is also an ex-offico Member of Parliament (MP).
Peter Aimat Lokeris is a Ugandan politician and accountant. He is the current Minister of State for Minerals in the Cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to this position on 16 February 2009. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, and that of 1 March 2015, Peter Lokeris retained his cabinet post. He is also the elected Member of Parliament representing Chekwii County in Nakapiripirit District. He has continuously represented that constituency since 1996.

Aston Kajara is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He is the current State Minister of Finance for Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 1 March 2015, he retained his cabinet post. Prior to that, from 16 February 2009 until 1 March 2015, he served as the State Minister of Finance for Investments. He is also the elected Member of Parliament (MP), representing "Mwenge County South" Kyenjojo District. He has represented that constituency in parliament from 2001 until 2006 and fromm 2011 until now.
Emmanuel Otiam Otala is a Ugandan physician and politician. He served as the State Minister for Labor in the Ugandan Cabinet from February 2009 until May 2011. Before that, he served as the State Minister of Health for Primary Care from June 2006 until February 2009. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped and replaced by Mwesigwa Rukutana. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for West Budama South Constituency, Tororo District, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national elections, he lost to Jacob Marksons Oboth, an independent politician.
Richard Nduhura, sometimes spelled Richard Nduhuura, is a Ugandan politician, diplomat and veterinarian who currently serves as Uganda's Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He was appointed to that position in August 2012. Prior to that, he served as State Minister for Health in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post.
Simon Lokodo is a Ugandan politician who has served as Minister of State for Ethics & Integrity in the Office of the President of Uganda since 2011. Previously he was the Minister of State for Industry from 2009 to 2011. He has also been the elected Member of Parliament representing Dodoth County, Kaabong District since 2006.
James Boliba Baba is a Ugandan politician and former diplomat. He is the current State Minister for Internal Affairs in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Matia Kasaija, who was appointed State Minister of Finance for Planning. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister in the Office of the Vice President, from 2006 until 2011. Fredrick Ruhindi, more commonly known as Freddie Ruhindi or Fred Ruhindi, is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He was Attorney General of Uganda from 1 March 2015 to 2016. Between 2 June 2006 and 28 February 2015, he served as the State Minister for Justice & Constitutional Affairs in the Ugandan Cabinet. He has served in that capacity since 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post. He is also the elected Member of Parliament representing Nakawa Division in Kampala District.
Perez Ahabwe is a Ugandan economist and politician who was the State Minister for Local Government in Uganda from 16 February 2009 to 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Alex Onzima. He also served as the elected member of Parliament, representing Rubanda County East, Kabale District, from 2001 to 2011, before losing to Henry Musasizi in the 2011 general election. Rukiya Kulany Chekamondo, sometimes spelled as Rukia Kulany Chekamondo, is a Ugandan educator and politician. She was the State Minister for Privatization in the Ministry of Finance, from June 2006 until May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, she was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Aston Kajara. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP), for Kapchorwa District Women's Representative, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national elections, she was defeated by the current incumbent MP, Phyllis Chemutai, an Independent politician.
Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze is a Ugandan educator and politician. He is the current Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 14 December 2019.
Gabriel Gadison Ajedra Aridru is a Ugandan civil engineer and politician. He is the current State Minister of Finance for General Duties in the Cabinet of Uganda.
