TheetharamadaSinchal Kaveramma (5 February 2001) is an Indian athlete from Karnataka. She competes in 400m hurdles. She is named in the Indian athletics team for the 400m hurdles event in the 2022 Asian Games at Hangzhou, China. [1]

Early life

Kaveramma hails from Gonikoppa, Coorg district, Karnataka. She did her primary schooling at Lions Primary School in Gonikoppa before attending Alvas English Medium High School in Moodbidri. Later, after pre-university course at Alvas PU College, she is now doing her B.Com. at Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College in Bengaluru. She trains under coaches Bollanda Vikram Aiyappa and Pramila Aiyappa in Bengaluru. [2]

She is a national champion or former national champion in each of the three events, with personal best timings of 11.3, 23.42, and 43.42 seconds in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4×100 metres relay, respectively. Her personal best times in all three events were after her withdrawal from professional competition for three years to become a mother. A Canara Bank employee, Jyothi is married to the former sprinter S. Srinivas, who is also her personal coach. Kaushalya Madushani, also known as Kawshalya Madushani Edirippulilage or Kaushalya Madhushani, was a Sri Lankan track and field athlete who mainly competed in the hurdles event. She was a five-time national champion in the women's 400m hurdles. She was the defending national champion in women's 400m hurdles prior to her death when she defended her title successfully in 2022. She was attached to the Sri Lankan Army.

Vithya Ramraj is an Indian athlete from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She is a three-time National champion. She competes in 100m and 400m hurdles and 400 metres. On 2 October 2023 at the 2022 Asian Games, she equalled the Indian national record of 55.42s in 400m hurdles set by P. T. Usha at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. She won the 400m hurdles bronze at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China on October 3. She also won a silver medal-winning 4x400m mixed relay team along with Muhammad Ajmal Variyathodi, Rajesh Ramesh and Subha Venkatesan.

Nandini Agasara is an Indian athlete. She was named as part of the Indian athletics squad for the 2022 Asian Games. She won the bronze medal in the Heptathlon event of the 2022 Asian Games at Hangzhou, China.

Sheena Nellickal Varkey is an Indian athlete from Kerala. She competes in triple jump event. She is named in the Indian athletics team for the women's triple jump event for the 2022 Asian Games at Hangzhou, China. She won a silver medal at the Asian Indoor Championships in 2018.
