Skander Djamil Athmani (born 21 June 1992) Algerian Paralympic athlete. [1] He made his maiden Paralympic appearance representing Algeria at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. [2]
Skander initially competed in able-bodied competitions. He competed in the men's 100m, men's 4×100m relay and men's 4×400m relay events at the 2014 African Championships in Athletics. He was part of the men's 4×100m team which claimed bronze medal at the 2014 African Championships. [3] He also represented Algeria at the 2017 Summer Universiade and competed in men's 100m, men's 200m, men's 4×400 relay events. [4]
He took part in the men's 100m T13 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics and claimed a silver medal in a thrilling final. [5] He clocked 10.54 seconds as he finished just 0.01 seconds behind defending Paralympic champion and veteran para-athlete Jason Smyth of Ireland. [6] [7] Later in that tournament he participated in the men's 400m T13 event where he claimed a gold medal and set a new world record at 46.70 seconds, finishing one second ahead of Morocco's Mohamed Amguoun, who had held the previous world record. Jason Smyth is an Irish retired sprint runner. He competes in the T13 disability sport classification as he is legally blind, with his central vision being affected by Stargardt's disease; he also competes in elite non-Paralympic competition. As of July 2014, Smyth holds T13 World records in the 100m and 200m events.
Morocco made its Paralympic Games début at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul. It was represented by an all-male team, with five competitors in athletics, three in swimming, and a wheelchair basketball team. Abdeljalal Biare won a bronze medal in the 400m freestyle in swimming - Morocco's sole medal of the 1988 Games.
The 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships was held in Christchurch, New Zealand from January 21 to 30, 2011. Athletes with a disability competed, and the Championships was a qualifying event for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

He represented Australia at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in athletics as well as the 2011, 2015, 2017, and 2019 Para Athletic World Championships.
The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.
Chad Perris is a vision impaired Australian athlete, born with albinism. He specialises in the 100m and 200m events. He has won two silver and two bronze medals at the World Para Athletics Championships and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. He competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.

Zachary "Zac" Shaw is a British visually impaired sprinter who competes in the T12 and T13 disability classifications. At the age of nine he became afflicted with stargardt disease. In 2013 he started training for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro but was ultimately unsuccessful. In 2014 Shaw won silver in both 100 metres and 200 metres at the UK School Games. In 2015 he made his international debut in the Berlin IPC Grand Prix where he won bronze.
Alexander Zverev is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. Zverev has competed at two Summer Paralympic Games, 2008 in Beijing and 2012 at London. At the 2012 Games he won silver in the 400m sprint.
Jaryd Clifford is an Australian Paralympic, vision impaired, middle-distance athlete. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics. He won gold medals in the Men's 1500m and 5000m T13 events at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships. Clifford represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, where he won silver medals in the Men's 5000m T13 and Men's Marathon T12, and a bronze medal in the Men's 1500 m T13.
Johannes Nambala is a Paralympian athlete from Namibia competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. In 2013 he became the first Namibian to win a gold medal at an IPC Athletics World Championships, when he won the 400m sprint in Lyon. As well as World Championship success Nambala has also won two silver Paralympic medals, both silver, and both won at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Namibia competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021.
Zak Skinner is a British Paralympic athlete, who competes in the 100m and long jump in the T13 classification.
Athiwat Paeng-nuea is a Paralympic athlete from Thailand who competes in category T54 sprint events. He represented Thailand at the 2020 Summer Paralympics and won a gold medal in the 100 metres T54 event and a silver medal in the 400 metres event.
