The club was founded in the 1950s. The Elite team was established in the 2022–23 season, when they joined the 1. Divisjon

In the 2022–23 season, Ski ended up 7th and was forced into a Promotion PLay-offs against 8th Place Hasle-Løren, along with the 1st and 2nd placed teams Manglerud Star & Konsvinger from the 2. divisjon 2022–23, the qualifiers were played in Ski Ishall.

End result playoffs qualification to 1. Divisjon 22/23.

Andrea Schjelderup Dalen is a Norwegian ice hockey forward, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Frölunda HC.
