Shad Gregory Moss, better known by his stage name Bow Wow, is an American rapper, actor, television presenter, and broadcaster. Moss' career began upon being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg, eventually being brought to record producer Jermaine Dupri and signed to So So Def Recordings. As Lil' Bow Wow, he released his first album, Beware of Dog, in 2000 at age 13, which was followed by Doggy Bag in 2001. In 2003, Bow Wow released his third album Unleashed, which was the first album released after dropping the "Lil'" from his stage name, and the first not to be released by So So Def. His next album, Wanted (2005) spawned his two highest charting singles, "Let Me Hold You" and "Like You". In September 2015, Bow Wow signed a management deal with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records.

The Skinny Boys were influenced by the much more prominent hip hop pioneers The Fat Boys and their single Jock Box was influenced by The Fat Boys' member Human Beat Box. They are not to be confused with the British rock band the Skinny Boys.

It includes the top 40 hits "Backseat", featuring The Cataracs and Dev, and "Better with the Lights Off" featuring Chris Brown. The New Boyz have also been featured on Hot Chelle Rae's song "I Like It Like That", which peaked at No. 28 on the Hot 100.

Records. The album was heavily influenced by jerkin' music. It received generally positive reviews, being called the sixth best album of 2009 by The New York Times. The album was released after the duo brought jerkin' to national attention with their viral hit "You're a Jerk", which later became a commercial success and the first single off their album. The second single "Tie Me Down", featuring Ray J, was released and also was successful. The album debuted at fifty-six on the Billboard 200, and at number twelve on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and eight on Top Rap Albums. The album was produced by New Boyz member, Legacy, and also contributions from producers, Jay-Nari, D&D and DJ Felli Fel.
