Slaughter Beach is an Indie pop band, formed in Odense, Denmark. The band comprises Nikolaj Westi, Mads Emil Aagaard and Hasse Mydtskov.
The band released their first tracks "Made-Up True Love" and "Spinning Globe" in 2013, [2] [3] via their SoundCloud page. In 2015 their track "Nuked" appeared [4] and later that year their debut-EP "Love/Venice" was released. [5] In 2016 they premiered the tracks "Glaze", [6] and "Shere Khan", [7] which are to be a part of their new EP "Heroic Dose". In September, 2016 their single "The Mo" was released. [8]
In April of 2024, the band released their first single in eight years with "BFF", which the band announced on their social media platform. That year Slaughter Beach released three further singles "Serenity" [9] , "Big Promotion" [10] , and "Prep" [11] all leading up to the release of their third EP called "EP" [12] , released October 2024 on New Vehicle [13] .
Slaughter Beach's music has been described as a mixture between Lo-fi, Indie and Pop music. [5] According to indie music and rap blog Pigeons and Planes "Slaughter Beach draws on rock influences like Beach House, Girls (band), MGMT, and The Strokes to create a sound that expands upon today’s prevailing sounds and brings a little grunginess back into the fold". [14]
Swan Lee is a Danish indie rock band consisting of singer Pernille Rosendahl, guitarist Jonas Struck and drummer Emil Jørgensen. Swan Lee has released three albums on their own label GoGo Records: Enter (2001), Swan Lee (2004) and The Garden (2023). They have won Danmarks Radio's P3 award, and are particularly known for the singles "Tomorrow Never Dies", "Love Will Keep You Warm" and "I Don't Mind".
1000Fryd is a small café, bar, and community center with a stage, a recording studio, a cinema, and an art gallery, located in Aalborg, Denmark. Since 1000Fryd opened in 1984 there have been thousands of concerts by both well known bands – such as Die Toten Hosen and Green Day – and utterly obscure local performers, such as Jimmy Justice and Columbian Neckties. It is a focus of the successful novel Nordkraft by Jakob Ejersbo.
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is an alternative rock band from Copenhagen formed in October 1988 in Valby. The power trio consists of Tim Christensen, Martin Nielsen and Søren Friis (drums). Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have stated that they are influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, but are not very fond of the designation grunge, which Dizzy perceived as an overused buzzword in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, they were highly successful in Denmark and Japan and are credited for heading the 1990s rock revival in Denmark with their studio albums Dizzy Mizz Lizzy (1994) and Rotator (1996). After the group disbanded in 1998, Christensen started a successful solo career.
Tim Christensen is a Danish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is known as the singer, guitarist and songwriter of the Danish alternative rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and as a solo artist. Since 2014, he has primarily focused on Dizzy Mizz Lizzy.

Manual is the performing name of electronic musician Jonas Munk Jensen,, from Odense, Denmark. He makes music in the style of ambient psychedelic rock dream pop and indietronica. His sound tends to contain a mix of software synthesizers, guitars, and various digital signal processing effects. Mixing elements of idm, glitch, and indie music, Manual is compared to artists ranging from IDM artists, such as Boards of Canada, as well as shoegazer groups like Blonde Redhead. Munk's output as Manual is strongly associated with the aesthetic of Morr Music, the label that released his first two albums. He also is featured on the Morr Music compilation Blue Skied an' Clear, which was a Slowdive tribute.
