Slovomir Vorobel (born October 26, 1971) is a Slovak former ice hockey defenceman.

Contents

Vorobel played in the Tipsport Liga for HC Košice, HK Dukla Trenčín, MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš and HK Poprad. He also played in the French Ligue Magnus for Anglet Hormadi Élite.

Vorobel played in the 1996 World Ice Hockey Championships for Slovakia. [1]

The Slovak 2. Liga, , is currently the third tier of ice hockey in Slovakia. For the 2018–19 season, the 2. liga is divided into two different divisions. It lies below the Slovak Extraliga and the Slovak 1. Liga. The league is composed of 18 teams divided into two groups, whose teams are divided geographically, including two foreign teams. First from Poland – KH 58 Sanok that plays in the Eastern group and second from Hungary – PHC Budapest that plays in the Western group.
