Slovomir Vorobel (born October 26, 1971) is a Slovak former ice hockey defenceman.
Vorobel played in the Tipsport Liga for HC Košice, HK Dukla Trenčín, MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš and HK Poprad. He also played in the French Ligue Magnus for Anglet Hormadi Élite.
Vorobel played in the 1996 World Ice Hockey Championships for Slovakia. [1]

The Slovak Extraliga, known as the Tipos Extraliga since the 2020–21 season for sponsorship reasons, is the highest-level ice hockey league in Slovakia. From 2018–19 to 2020–21, the league included one or two teams from Hungary.
Igor Liba is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player. He played 37 games in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings during the 1988–89 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1979 to 2003, was mainly spent in the Czechoslovak Extraliga and in other European leagues. Internationally Liba played for the Czechslovakian national team in several tournaments, including the 1984, 1988, and 1992 Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the latter. In 2005 Liba was inducted into the Slovak Hockey Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the player category of the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2024.

Branislav Mezei is a Slovak professional ice hockey player. Mezei is a defenceman currently with HK Nitra of the Slovak Extraliga. Mezei has previous played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers. Mezei also played for Barys Astana and HC Plzen of the KHL, and Espoo Blues of the SM-liiga. Mezei was a first-round pick of the Islanders in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, tenth overall.
