Slay is an upcoming horror comedy written by Jimmi Simpson and directed by Kyra Elise Gardner. It stars Zoey Luna, Aya Cash, Shawnee Smith, Sean Giambrone, Malina Pauli Weissman, Beck Nolan, Reise Alexander, River Alexander, Talia Jackson and Ruby McCollister. It follows seven high school seniors who are being targeted and murdered one weekend.

Kyra Elise Gardner makes her narrative feature debut as director, working from a screenplay by first-time writer Jimmi Simpson. Simpson stated that he wrote Slay about "that moment in adolescence where you realize your friends know how to hurt you better than anyone else. Slay lives right there— but with sick music, jokes and stabbings". [2] Tony Gardner, Gardner's father and a FX designer, also worked on the film. [1] Principal photography took place in Columbus, Ohio and was completed in mid-2024. [2] As of June 2025, a Kickstarter campaign was created to help raise funds to complete post-production. [3]
