The 2007–08 Toronto Raptors season was the 13th National Basketball Association (NBA) season for the Toronto Raptors basketball franchise, with the 2007–08 season scheduled to begin in October 2007. The major acquisition was that of three-point specialist Jason Kapono from the Miami Heat, and much expectations also rested on the maturing of Andrea Bargnani, Toronto's number one draft pick in 2006. With an overwhelming majority of home game sellouts, the Raptors qualified for the playoffs for the second year running, but this time around as the sixth seed. The Raptors faced the third seed Orlando Magic, and were eliminated in five games. The Raptors had the tenth best team offensive rating in the NBA. They did not qualify for the playoffs again until 2014, when led by Lowry and Derozan.

Written alongside producer OZ, it was released as the lead single on April 3, 2020, through Republic and OVO. The song is titled after social media influencer, Toosie, who had previously helped the song go viral. A video was released alongside the song, showing Drake quarantined, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also demonstrates the Toosie Slide dance in his Toronto mansion. The song debuted at number eighteen on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 before debuting at number one on the main Billboard Hot 100 chart the next week, making Drake the first male artist to accomplish three number-one debuts.

Bosh is a French rapper of Congolese origin from Plaisir, a western suburb of Paris. He specializes in street rap and deals with subjects of drugs, violence and youth problems. He became well known through the web series Dans le kartier released on YouTube in 2009. He was in the rap formation BLK, a collective of 9 rappers and musicians including Bosh. He was also part of the rap group 78. He gained further clout in 2016 with the freestyle series Mal dominant. He released his mixtape Dos Argenté in June 2018 followed by the very successful album Synkinisi in March 2020. He has had a role as Karnage in Validé, directed by Franck Gastambide on Canal+ station.
