Sliedrecht Sport is a Dutch volleyball club based in Sliedrecht. It has professional and amateur teams (men, women, youth and beach volleyball) with the women's team being the most successful, having won the national league, cup and supercup multiple times, and currently playing in the Eredivisie Dames, the highest level in the Netherlands. [1] The men's team was promoted to the Dutch Eredivisie for the first time in 2018.

History

Founded in 1956, the club has over 600 athletes within its various teams (men, women, youth and beach volley). [2]

The most successful team is the women's, which won the Dutch league four times, the Dutch Cup three times and the Dutch Supercup also on three occasions. [3] Since 2001 the club has regularly featured in European competitions, such as the Women's CEV Cup and the CEV Women's Challenge Cup. [4]

The men's team played in the Topdivisie (2nd tier) until it was promoted to the Eredivisie Heren for the first time in 2018. [5]

The youth teams were also awarded best team in 2003, 2005, 2016 and 2017 [6]

Volero Zürich is a Swiss volleyball club based in Zürich. It has many teams with the women's team being the most successful and currently playing in the National League A. Since the mid 2000s, the club has also frequently participated in European competitions, most notably the CEV Women's Champions League. In 2018 the elite women's team joined Entente sportive Le Cannet-Rocheville, forming Volero Le Cannet, a team located in Le Cannet, France.

Fenerbahçe Men's Volleyball, commonly known as Fenerbahçe, are the men's volleyball department of Fenerbahçe SK, a major Turkish multi-sport club based in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1927, they are one of the most successful volleyball teams in Turkey, having won five Turkish Volleyball League titles, four Turkish Cups, and four Turkish Super Cups, among others. In Europe Fenerbahçe have won two Balkan Cups and the CEV Challenge Cup in the 2013–14 season, thus writing volleyball history as the women's team won another continental title, the CEV Cup, the very same day.
