Slimmy Unplugged is the debut live album by Portuguese singer-songwriter Slimmy. It was recorded on 19 and 20 of June 2008 at Tertúlia Castelense. It was released and available through Optimus in a limited digital edition during the months of November and December 2008 at the Optimus Store, for a price of 2€.

Background

By the end of 2008, Optimus presented a new format of concerts, starting in December, at the Optimus Store house of music that opened in Porto at the time. These special performances for 100 guests only, had floor space designed especially for events related to music. Deliberately restricted, these concerts had the objective to ensure a more intimate and familiar, especially in thinking most devoted fans of each guest artist. [2]

Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal after Lisbon and one of the major urban areas of the Iberian Peninsula. The city proper has a population of 237,591 and the metropolitan area of Porto, which extends beyond the administrative limits of the city, has a population of 1.9 million (2011) in an area of 2,395 km2 (925 sq mi), making it the second-largest urban area in Portugal. It is recognized as a gamma-level global city by the Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) Study Group, the only Portuguese city besides Lisbon to be recognised as a global city.

For each of these concerts, Optimus offered 50 double tickets, which would be allocated through the site musica.optimus.pt and to the customers who subscribed to certain services or features. [2]

Slimmy performed on two days: on 19 and 20 of June 2008. The album was released and available through Optimus in a limited digital edition during the months of November and December 2008 at the Optimus Store, for a price of 2€. [3]

Although information about the track listing of the concert is available anywhere, there are some sources that says that the album featured 13 tracks and that the following songs were part of the set list for the show: [3] [4]

<i>Be Someone Else</i> album by Slimmy

Be Someone Else is the second studio album by Portuguese singer-songwriter Slimmy. Saul Davies was first set to be the producer of the album, however, such collaboration wasn't possible and Slimmy started working on the album with his longtime producers Quico Serrano and Mark J Turner. Other musicians joined Slimmy for the recording of the album: Paulo Garim in the bass and Tó-Zé in the drums, who already worked with slimmy in Beatsound Loverboy, and Gustavo Silva, in the keyboards and Daniel Santos in the guitar as guest musicians. He mentioned that all production process happened because of him and that he was the one with the "last word" on his projects, not the bands or producers that he worked with. Originally due for release on May 2010, the album's release was pushed back to 14 June 2010. The album was released in three formats: the physical standard edition, the physical deluxe edition with 2 discs and the digital format featuring 10 tracks.

<i>We Lost the Skyline</i> live album

We Lost the Skyline is a live recording by Porcupine Tree, recorded during an in-store performance at Park Avenue CDs in Orlando, Florida on the 4th October 2007, with 200 fans in attendance. Although it was originally planned that the full band would play, lack of space dictated that only the two guitarists/singers Steven Wilson and John Wesley did. This one-off performance was captured by a remote recording facility and the complete 8 song, 33 minute show is now being released in a mail order only CD, but the band are currently negotiating a low-key release for the CD through a number of independent stores in the USA that have supported Porcupine Tree over the last few years. However, the CD was released in Poland in small quantity.

byron is an alternative rock band formed in 2006 in Bucharest, Romania. Dan Byron, former guest of Agathodaimon and ex-member of Urma and Kumm, initially wanted to start a solo project, but it soon developed into an actual band. Their music is hard to define; it would best be described as art-rock / adult-alternative with a lot of influences from different musical areas, mostly blues, progressive rock and jazz. All lyrics are written in English and touch aspects of modern man’s condition.

Beatsound Loverboy is the debut studio album by Portuguese singer-songwriter Slimmy. Slimmy started working on the album with his longtime producers Quico Serrano and Mark J Turner. Other two producers joined Slimmy for the recording of the album: Saul Davies and Rodolfo Cardoso. The relationship between Slimmy and the other producers was always good and Slimmy feels that that provided a good production for the album. He mentioned that he started to compose and write songs in 2000, than record them and play them alive. However, the project only began to take concrete steps, when Slimmy, in 2004, moved to London. The album was released on September 17, 2007 in Portugal. The album was released in two formats: the physical edition, featuring 11 tracks; and the digital edition also featuring 11 tracks. In summer 2007 Slimmy returned to Portugal to promote his projects because he felt that he wasn't recognized in his country.

MTV Unplugged is an extended play (EP) and live album by American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, released in the United States on August 19, 2011 by Virgin Records. The show's purpose is to present name artists, and feature them stripped of studio equipment. Unplugged: The Complete 1991 and 2001 Sessions is a 2014 live album from alternative rock band R.E.M., released initially on vinyl recordings through Rhino Records for Record Store Day, later made available on compact disc and digitally. The album is composed of two performances that the band made on the U.S. television show MTV Unplugged. Among the album's 33 tracks are 11 performances which were not aired on either broadcast. To promote the album, Mike Mills signed copies at independent record store Bull Moose in Scarborough, Maine. Video of the concerts was released later that year on REMTV.

Unplugged is a live album by Malaysian recording artist Siti Nurhaliza. It was released in multiple formats, both physical and digital in Malaysia on 30 June 2015. The main live tracks were all taken from her 2015 unplugged concert at Istana Budaya on 7 April 2015. The CD, digital download and LP record versions of the album however come with three new bonus songs, "Menatap dalam Mimpi", "Engkau" ("You") and "Mikraj Cinta". All were recorded specifically to accompany the three audio releases.
