The Slovenian men's national ice hockey team is the ice hockey team representing Slovenia internationally. It is governed by the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia. As of March 2022, Slovenia is ranked 19th in the world by the IIHF World Ranking. The team's biggest success is reaching the quarter-finals at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Their best record at the Ice Hockey World Championships is 13th place, while their highest IIHF ranking is 12th place.
The Bulgaria men's national volleyball team is controlled by the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches.

The FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The first tournament was played between 20 and 24 June, 2018 in Matosinhos, Portugal. Portugal won the inaugural edition, defeating Czech Republic in the final and qualified for the 2019 Nations League.

The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was the 20th staging of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was held in Poland and Slovenia from 26 August to 11 September 2022. It was originally planned to be held in Russia. However, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine starting on 24 February, Russia was stripped of organization rights.
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament. The 2021 version of VNL was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The competition was held between May and June 2021, and the final round took place in Rimini Fiera, Rimini, Italy.
The Slovenia women's national under-19 volleyball team represents Slovenia in international women's volleyball competitions under the age of 19 and is controlled by the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia, which is an affiliate of the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB) and also a part of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship featured 24 teams. Two places were allocated to the host, Russia, and the current titleholder, Poland. Ten places will be allocated to the top two teams from each of the 2021 Continental Championships that have not yet qualified as host or titleholder. Remaining places will be allocated to the top twelve teams in the FIVB World Ranking that have not yet qualified through the first three criteria.
Odbojkarski klub Merkur Maribor or simply OK Maribor is a Slovenian professional volleyball team based in Maribor. The team play their home games at Tabor Hall and competes in the Slovenian Volleyball League, the top division of Slovenian volleyball. Founded in 1945, the club has won the national championship three times and the Slovenian national cup four times.

The Denmark men's national under-21 volleyball team represents Denmark in international men's volleyball competitions and friendly matches under the age 21 and it is ruled by the Danish Volleyball Federation body that is an affiliate of the Federation of International Volleyball FIVB and also part of the European Volleyball Confederation CEV.
The Norway men's national under-21 volleyball team represents Norway in international men's volleyball competitions and friendly matches under the age 21 and it is ruled by the Norwegian Volleyball Federation body that is an affiliate of the Federation of International Volleyball FIVB and also part of the European Volleyball Confederation CEV.
The final tournament was held in Poland and Slovenia from 26 August to 11 September 2022.
