Soe Moe Kyaw (born 23 March 1999) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Cambodian Premier League club Phnom Penh Crown and the Myanmar national team. [2]

In 2018, Soe joined Ayeyawady United.

Yangon United

On 15 January 2021, Soe transferred to Yangon United. [3]

Kasetsart

On 13 July 2022, Soe moved to Thailand to joined Thai League 2 side, Kasetsart.

Phnom Penh Crown

On 17 July 2023, Soe moved to Cambodia to joined Cambodia Premier League champions, Phnom Penh Crown. [4] [5] [6]

International career

On 12 October 2023, Soe scored his first international goal against Macau at the Thuwunna Stadium.

On 21 March 2024, he scored a goal during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Syria which give Myanmar the lead against the opponent..

Style of play

Soe is a physically strong player who can score from powerful headers. However, he can get aggressive at times, noticeably in the Asian Cup Qualifiers, where he tackled a Tajikistan player inside the 18-yard box and gave his opponents a goal, and also saw him get a red card.

The Myanmar National League is the premier national professional football league of Myanmar. In 2009, the league replaced the Myanmar Premier League, which consisted only of 14 Yangon-based football clubs, with eight professional clubs representing different regions across the nation. On 16 May 2009, the league launched its inaugural two-month tournament, the Myanmar National League Cup 2009 in preparation for the first full season in 2010. Despite its national ambitions, the league held the MNL Cup 2009 matches in the country's two main stadiums in Yangon due to the lack of adequate facilities elsewhere. Kyaw Ko Ko is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Myanmar national team. He scored five goals in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games and helped the Myanmar U23 team to secure a third-place finish and a bronze medal. He is the star striker of Myanmar National Team. He was ranked #7 in the "World's Best Top Scorers" list by the IFFHS in 2014. The 2019 AFF U-22 Youth Championship or AFF U-22 LG Cup 2019 was the 2nd edition of the AFF U-22 Youth Championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). Indonesia won the tournament after defeating Thailand 2–1 in the final. The tournament was held from 17 to 26 February in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This was its first as an under-22 tournament, with the previous edition being an under-23 tournament. 2005 AFF U-23 Youth Championship winners Thailand were the defending champions, as there was no competition from 2006 to 2018 and the 2011 edition was cancelled.

The 2022 AFF U-23 Championship was the 3rd edition of the AFF U-23 Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The tournament was held from 14 to 26 February in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Indonesia were the defending champions, having won the 2019 edition. The tournament was held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia and Myanmar withdrew from the tournament after several of their players tested positive for COVID-19.

The 2022 Hun Sen Cup was the 16th season of the Hun Sen Cup, the premier knockout tournament for association football clubs in Cambodia involving Cambodian Premier League, Cambodian League 2 and provincial football clubs organized by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC). The competition was split into 2 stages, the provincial stage which started on 8 February 2022 and the national stage with the top four teams from provincial stage entering the play-off of national stage, competing with the teams from Cambodian League 2.

The 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup qualification is a women's under-20 football competition that will determine the participating teams in the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2004 are eligible to participate.

The 2022 Myanmar National League is scheduled to be the 13th season of the Myanmar National League, the highest domestic league in the country for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. Recently, AIA agreed a sponsorship deal with Myanmar National League in order to support both MNL and Myanmar Football.

The men's football tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held in Cambodia. Ten Southeast Asian nations entered the men's tournament. The tournament was limited to players exclusively under-22 years of age.

The women's football tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held from 3–15 May 2023 in Cambodia. Eight Southeast Asian nations participated in the women's tournament. All matches are played in Phnom Penh. There is no age limit for this tournament. Indonesia withdrew from the competition after the draw. Timor-Leste did not take part in the competition.
