Sofie Stange Cappelen (born February 2, 1982) [1] is a Norwegian actress.
Cappelen began her career as a child actor. She was a member of the Jorunn Kirkenær Children's Ballet, and made several TV appearances as a dancer and actor, including on NRK in the 1989 Christmas series Vertshuset den gyldne hale and in the children's show Midt i Smørøyet . At the age of 11, she made her stage debut at the National Theatre of Norway in Sverre Brandt's Reisen til Julestjernen .[ citation needed ]
At 13, she played the lead role of Rikke Eriksen in the feature film Aldri mer 13! ("Never Again 13!"), directed by Sirin Eide . [2]
She played Victoria Lunde on the long-running prime-time soap opera Hotel Cæsar , from its first season in 1998, when she was 16. [3] After four years' absence while living in New York and studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute, [2] she returned to the role in 2009. [4] [5]
In 2003 she played Inga, the female lead in the Israeli comedy Halleluja , which won at the Haifa International Film Festival.[ citation needed ]
She has published two children's books, Godnattareglen (2011) and Bjørnis og de røde prikkene (2015). [6] [7] She owns the publishing company Eventyrforlaget and practices as a clinical psychologist. [8]
She is a member of the Cappelen family. Her father is writer Anders Cappelen and her grandfather was the dramatist Peder Wright Cappelen. [9]
While in New York, she married American designer Brendon Babenzien; [10] they subsequently divorced. She has a daughter, born in 2011, with photographer Alexander Kayiambakis. [2] [11]

She previously served as Minister of Culture from 2012 to 2013. She was 29 years of age at the time and became the youngest minister to serve in the Norwegian government. She is the first Cabinet member that is a Muslim. Tajik has served as a Member of Parliament representing Rogaland since 2017, and Oslo from 2009 to 2017. Kaja Bordevich Ballo was a Norwegian university student who took her own life in Nice, France, on March 28, 2008, shortly after taking an Oxford Capacity Analysis (OCA), a personality test administered by the Church of Scientology, earlier the same day. Family and friends state that Ballo was happy prior to taking the OCA, and that her mood dramatically shifted after receiving the results; she jumped from the fourth floor of her dorm room hours later. In addition to a suicide note, Ballo's family found the OCA among her belongings. French police investigated connections between Scientology and Ballo's death, and interviewed two leaders of the Church of Scientology in France; prosecutors stated in December 2008 that they were unable to establish a causative link.

The route runs south from European Route E6 at Ulsberg in the municipality of Rennebu in Trøndelag county, via Tynset and Elverum, to Stange in Innlandet county, where it rejoins European Route E6. She writes for the conspiracy theorist website Steigan.no and has been widely criticized for promoting climate change denial, COVID-19 misinformation, Russian propaganda, Antisemitism and transphobia. A 2021 survey by YouGov found that the public figures viewed most negatively by Norwegians were Donald Trump, Kari Jaquesson and Vladimir Putin.
