The Solnechny mine is a large copper mine located in the center of Russia in Krasnoyarsk Krai. Solnechny represents one of the largest copper reserves in Russia and in the world, having estimated reserves of 1.92 billion tonnes of ore grading 1.17% copper. [1]

Population: 33,701 (2010 Census); 36,006 (2002 Census); 46,772 (1989 Census). The population of the administrative center accounts for 39.5% of the district's total population.
