Muhammad Faris Zakaria (born 15 May 1993) also known as Soloz is a professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of King player who is also a popular Malaysian streamer and vlogger. Soloz is one of the most successful and popular eSports player of all time in southeast Asia. [1] [2] [3] He has been hailed by many eSports players as "King without crown". [4]

Career

2016-2019: Establishment of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and SEA Games Filipina 2019

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a video game released in September 2016 by Moonton. Soloz started out with his teammates at the time which included, Mysterious Assassin (MyA), Zyzz, Sh4dow and 2ez4jepv who have played since 2016. He has won three achievements which include the Mobile Legends Professional League 2018 (MPL 2018), Battleground Winner and 2nd place in the MVP Cup when he was with MyA. [5]

In 2018, Soloz joined AirAsia Saiyan (Fredo) who at the time was squad captain. Throughout his time in AirAsia Saiyan, Soloz also won the Gegaria Fest Putrajaya [6] facing off against MyA in which they brought home RM5,000. [7] In October, Rush, Penjahat, HawkEye, Gripex, Logan and Soloz as squad leader joined Team Bosskurr. Together with his new club, Soloz was chosen as captain.[ citation needed ]

Alongside Bosskurr, Soloz managed to win the Todak Fest. [8] In a best of 1 match, the club won RM50,000 after defeating MyA. He was chosen to represent Malaysia in the SEA Games 2019 as their MLBB eSports athelte. He won the bronze metal after being defeated by the Filipino team in the semi finals. [9]

2022–2024: Awards and team founding

In January 2022, Soloz was awarded the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P. J. K.) in conjunction with the 74th Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan for his contribution in Malaysian eSports. [10]

In July 2024, he bought the team slot, King Empire in the MPL MY. [11] which was helped by Muhammad "KingShah" Shafiq and Amirul Mukmimin "KingYonnyz" Zahri [12] in which he renamed the team to Team Vamos. [13] This was followed by his achievement as Best Streamer in the MLBB Awards 2024. [14]

2025–now:Film making and new porjects

In March 26, 2024, Moonton annocued a new project called Soloz: Game of Life. The film is the story of Muhammad Faris Zaikal (Soloz) childhood life who was starred by Hun Haqeem, Ikmal Amry and Jaa Suzuran. [15] [16]

Personal life

Soloz is native from Negeri Sembilan. On June 2020, he announced his marriage to his fiancee, Maryam Jamilah Rahim. [17]
