Soman is a power noise/techno act from Germany. They have had several hits in the Deutsche Alternative Charts.
Originally, Kolja Trelle worked as sound engineer with Absurd Minds, Hocico, and Terminal Choice, and remixed songs by VNV Nation, Rotersand, and Tom Wax. Trelle signed a record deal with Out of Line for his musical project Soman. Soman's debut album, Sound Pressure, was released in 2003.
In 2005, he released the single "Unleashed", which charted at number one on the Deutsche Alternative Charts (DAC). [1]
His second album, Mask, was released in 2007 by Infacted Recordings in Europe and was licensed to COP International for a North American release. The following year saw the release of his third album, Re:Up, on Infacted and COP International.
Soman's debut album was reissued, with bonus tracks, via Infacted Recording for Europe in 2008 and Metropolis Records for America in 2009, under the title of Sound Pressure 2.0.
For live appearances, Soman supported VNV Nation on their Matter + Form tour in 2005, [1] as played at WGT and M'era Luna Festival in 2006.[ citation needed ] In August 2007, he appeared at the Infest Festival in Bradford, England.[ citation needed ] He has worked with alternative artist Lahannya.
VNV Nation is an Irish alternative electronic project led by Ronan Harris in the roles of singer, songwriter, and producer. VNV Nation's sound combines lyrics with sounds that ranges from melodic industrial dance anthems, to haunting ballads and post-classical soundtrack pieces. Their 2015 album Resonance: Music For Orchestra Vol. 1 achieved #4 Classical & #3 Classical CrossoverBillboard chart positions in the US. The "VNV" in the name stands for "Victory Not Vengeance," in keeping with the group's motto, "One should strive to achieve, not sit in bitter regret."
Icon of Coil is a Norwegian electronic music band. The band was established as a solo project in 1997 by Andy LaPlegua who was joined by former Sector 9 bandmate Sebastian Komor to perform live. With the release of Shallow Nation, the band's first single, Komor joined full-time. In 2000, Christian Lund joined the live lineup. Later that year the band's first full-length album, Serenity is the Devil, was released, which climbed to number one on the Deutsche Alternative Charts. Shortly thereafter, Lund became a full-time band member.

Echogenetic is the fifteenth full-length studio album by Vancouver industrial band Front Line Assembly, released on July 9, 2013. It was well received both by critics and fans and charted in German and US charts. Critics commented on the band's return to a purely electronic approach and on the dubstep influence on the album. Front Line Assembly toured extensively in Europe and North America in support of this album and remix follow-up Echoes, which included a tour with vocalist and band leader Bill Leeb's former band Skinny Puppy.
