The Somnox Sleep Robot is a capsule-shaped robot that claims to enhance quality of sleep. [1] The capsule "breathes" in and out according to a fixed rhythm. [1] The company claims that by subconsciously matching their breathing to it, people will be helped to fall asleep. [1] [2] [3]
The robot is a heavy, kidney-shaped white capsule with a soft fabric shell. [1] [2] It can be controlled with a smartphone through a companion app. [4] In addition to breathing, it also plays customizable audio. [4]
The robot began prototyping in 2015 at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. [1] It was originally made by four robotics engineers there to help themselves and their families fall asleep, and to help wean one of the designer's mothers suffering from anxiety and insomnia off of sleep medication. [1] [5] The decision was made to commercialize it after it received interest from strangers. [1] It was released on Kickstarter in November 2017, raising about twice its funding goal of € 100,000 (US$ 123,000). [1]

ASWH, short for Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. It won section championships in 1949, 1959, 1961, 1970, 1883, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2024. In 2005 ASWH also won the Dutch Championship of Amateur Soccer and the Dutch Championship of Saturday Soccer. Ascending gradually through the ranks, ASWH played 2019–2022 in the semi-professional Tweede Divisie. In 2023, it joined the Vierde Divisie, after relegating twice for the first time in the club's history. In 2023–2024, ASWH operates 70 teams in competitions.
A sleep study is a test that records the activity of the body during sleep. There are five main types of sleep studies that use different methods to test for different sleep characteristics and disorders. These include simple sleep studies, polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLTs), maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWTs), and home sleep tests (HSTs). In medicine, sleep studies have been useful in identifying and ruling out various sleep disorders. Sleep studies have also been valuable to psychology, in which they have provided insight into brain activity and the other physiological factors of both sleep disorders and normal sleep. This has allowed further research to be done on the relationship between sleep and behavioral and psychological factors.

Call It Off is a Dutch pop punk band formed in Eindhoven, Netherlands in 2013.
