Jon Pyong-ho was a North Korean officer and politician who served as the Chief Secretary of the Korean Workers Party (KWP) Committee of the North Korean Cabinet,and director of the DPRK Cabinet Political Bureau before his retirement in 2010. Jon was described as the 'Chief architect of North Korea's nuclear programme'. Jon was a general of the Korean People's Army and a close adviser to the late Kim Jong-il.

Kum-song,also spelled Geum-seong,is a Korean unisex given name. Its meaning differs based on the hanja used to write each syllable of the name. There are 14 hanja with the reading "Kum" and 27 hanja with the reading "Song" on South Korean government's official list of hanja which may be used in given names. One common pair of hanja used to write this name mean "golden castle".

The 2013 Hwaebul Cup was the inaugural edition of the Hwaebul Cup celebrating North Korea's Youth Day. The Kapsan Faction Incident was an unsuccessful attempt to undermine the power of Kim Il Sung,the leader of North Korea,around the year 1967. The "Kapsan faction" was a group of veterans of the anti-Japanese struggle of the 1930s and 1940s that was initially close to Kim Il Sung. In the wake of the 2nd Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in 1966,the faction sought to introduce economic reforms,challenge Kim Il-sung's cult of personality,and appoint its ringleader Pak Kum-chol as his successor.

Pak Kum-chol was a North Korean politician. Having been a guerrilla during the anti-Japanese struggle,he became a high-ranking politician after the liberation of Korea. Pak aligned himself with his former guerrilla brothers in arms from the Kapsan Operation Committee to form a faction within the ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) called the "Kapsan faction". This faction sought to replace Kim Il Sung with Pak. Kim retaliated by purging the faction in 1967 in what is known as the Kapsan Faction Incident. Pak was sent to work at a factory in the countryside and was either executed or died by suicide in May 1967.
Party Songs is an EP by Neue Slowenische Kunst industrial/avant-garde group Laibach. It contains three versions of the song "Honourable,Dead or Alive,When Following the Revolutionary Road",as well as two versions of North Korean pop song "We Will Go To Mount Paektu" and a live recording of all-Korean folk song "Arirang". The songs are a collaboration with Boris Benko from Slovenian electronic band Silence.
