Dirty is the seventh studio album by American rock band Sonic Youth, released on July 21, 1992 by DGC Records. The band recorded and co-produced the album with Butch Vig in early 1992 at the Magic Shop studios. The sound on Dirty was inspired by the grunge scene of the time, and was described as avant-rock. Some songs on the album mark the first appearance of three guitars in Sonic Youth songs.
Ultraspank was an American metal band from Santa Barbara, California, United States, in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They released two albums, a self-titled album in 1998, and a follow-up, Progress, in 2000. The band disbanded shortly after the release of Progress in 2001 due to being dropped by their label due to poor sales of both albums.
Sonic Boom Six are an English five-piece band from Manchester, United Kingdom. Their eclectic sound combines different elements of several genres and has been described by Kerrang! as "taking ska, pop, grime, dubstep, punk and metal apart, then rebuilding them as a hyperactive hybrid". Their lyrics tend to focus on social commentary with a live show known for "clashing activism and good times". Francis Edward Turner is an English punk and folk singer-songwriter from Meonstoke, Hampshire. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. In the studio and during live performances, Turner is accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls, which consists of Ben Lloyd, Tarrant Anderson (bass), Matt Nasir and Callum Green (drums).

Fragile is the seventh and final album released by British band Dead or Alive in 2000. Like their album Fan the Flame , this album has only seen a release in Japan from Japanese big independent record company Avex Trax, where the band was very popular. Containing a total of thirteen tracks, the album contains some new material as well as re-recordings and remixes of past hits. Also included is a remake of U2's song "Even Better Than the Real Thing", which had previously appeared on a U2 tribute album. The album remained an exclusive in this territory until the worldwide release of the Sophisticated Boom Box MMXVI compilation box set in 2016.

Random Hand is a British ska band, formed in Keighley in 2002. Their sound fuses influences from many genres, including ska, reggae, punk rock, metal, hip hop and dub. The band is typically associated with the punk subculture, due to its ethics and lyrical content. Their lyrical themes are mostly of a sociopolitical nature, however recent albums Inhale/Exhale and Seething Is Believing, feature more personal lyrics and subject matter.
Alphabeat is a Danish pop band from Silkeborg, fronted by singers Stine Bramsen and Anders Stig Gehrt Nielsen. Their single "Fascination" was a major hit in Denmark during the summer of 2007, as well as the United Kingdom in 2008. Follow-up single "10.000 Nights of Thunder" saw equal acclaim, and their eponymous debut album reached number two in Denmark and number ten in the UK. It has sold over 100,000 copies and their three top twenty singles have sold altogether in the region of 400,000.
Sonic Boom is the nineteenth studio album, and the first in 11 years, by the rock band Kiss, released on October 6, 2009. The album was recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA and produced by Paul Stanley and co-produced by Greg Collins. The album was the first studio album to be released under the current line-up, consisting of Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer. It was also the first studio album to feature lead vocal performances from Thayer and Singer. Stanley stated, "the purpose of this album isn't to let people know that we're still around – it's to let people know we can still knock out anybody who's out there!".

Escape the Fate is the third studio album by American post-hardcore band Escape the Fate. It was released worldwide on November 2, 2010. It is the band's first and only album released on DGC/Interscope following their departure from Epitaph Records. The album charted No. 25 on the Billboard 200, No. 1 at Hard Rock Albums, No. 14 in a Rock Albums, No. 13 in Alternative and Independent charts and No. 118 in Digital Albums Chart. Upon release, the album has received generally positive reviews, and is Escape the Fate's most successful album to date.

Famous Graves is the fourth and final full-length studio album by rock group Cheap Girls, released on May 12, 2014, in the United Kingdom and on May 13, 2014, in the United States through Xtra Mile Recordings. It is available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download. The album was recorded over three months in Chicago, Illinois and Grand Rapids, Michigan with Rick Johnson and Jeff Dean. It was self-produced by the band and mixed with the help of Dean.
Dancing in the Storm is the sixth studio album by Australian rock band Boom Crash Opera. The album was released in Australia on 1 May 2009 as part of the Liberation Music "Blue Acoustic" series. The physical version came with a bonus live DVD, recorded in June 1993.
