Sool Joogto is a village in the Togdheer region of Somaliland. It comes under Buuhoodle District. [1]

In recent history, the city held a ceremony of inducting one of its local clan elders, Mohamed Suleiman Awed (Maxamed Saleebaan Cawed), who is a major clan elder in the city of Buuhoodle, while also promoting and strengthening the unity and prosperity in the towns that the locals inhabit in Buuhoodle District. [2]

Demographics

As with most towns in Buuhoodle District, Sool Joogto was founded by the Dhulbahante. It is primarily inhabited by the Adan Ahmed subclan of the Farah Garad sections of the Dhulbahante, with the Wa'eys Adan being the majority.

The clan's progenitor is buried at Badweyn.

Megagle is excessively inhabited by the Reer Hagar sub-clan of the Dhulbahante and was taken from the Habar Jeclo of the isaaq sub-clan in the battles between the Ahmed Garaad sub-clan of Dhulbahante and the Habar Jeclo sub-clan of isaaq. In the end, Habar Jeclo was pushed out of the region only leaving them with one town that they are the majority, Most of the towns were divided between the Adan Ahmed confederation which are the Reer Hgar Waeys Adan, Mahad Adan, Farah Adan.

Horufadhi is a town in the Togdheer region of Somaliland which comes under the Buhoodle District.

Shululux is a village in Buuhoodle District, in the Togdheer Region of Somaliland. The town was previously administered under the Sool Region. It is located north by road from Widhwidh.
