The West Canada Creek's south branch gets its start at T-lake, northwest of Piseco Lake. It travels southwest, through the town of Morehouse, and joins the main branch of the West Canada at Nobleboro. North of Route 8 on Mountain Home Road is a man-made lake called The Floe on the maps, but to the locals it is called Mountain Home Pond.
The Mohawk River [TieonontatátieKanien'ké:ha for "a river flowing through a mountain"] is a 149-mile-long (240 km) river in the U.S. state of New York. It is the largest tributary of the Hudson River. The Mohawk flows into the Hudson in Cohoes, New York, a few miles north of the city of Albany. The river is named for the Mohawk Nation of the Iroquois Confederacy. It is a major waterway in north-central New York. The largest tributary, the Schoharie Creek, accounts for over one quarter (26.83%) of the Mohawk River's watershed. Another main tributary is the West Canada Creek, which makes up for 16.33% of the Mohawk's watershed.
The West Branch Delaware River is one of two branches that form the Delaware River. It is approximately 90 mi (144 km) long, and flows through the U.S. states of New York and Pennsylvania. It winds through a mountainous area of New York in the western Catskill Mountains for most of its course, before joining the East Branch along the northeast border of Pennsylvania with New York. Midway or so it is empounded by the Cannonsville Dam to form the Cannonsville Reservoir, both part of the New York City water supply system for delivering drinking water to the City.
The Feather River is the principal tributary of the Sacramento River, in the Sacramento Valley of Northern California. The river's main stem is about 73 miles (117 km) long. Its length to its most distant headwater tributary is just over 210 miles (340 km). The main stem Feather River begins in Lake Oroville, where its four long tributary forks join—the South Fork, Middle Fork, North Fork, and West Branch Feather Rivers. These and other tributaries drain part of the northern Sierra Nevada, and the extreme southern Cascades, as well as a small portion of the Sacramento Valley. The total drainage basin is about 6,200 square miles (16,000 km2), with approximately 3,604 square miles (9,330 km2) above Lake Oroville.
Canadarago Lake is a 1,917-acre (7.76 km2) lake located in Otsego County, New York and is the source of Oaks Creek. The Village of Richfield Springs is located at the lake's northern end. It is the second largest lake in Otsego County, lying to the west of and parallel to the larger Otsego Lake. The lake's name is also spelled "Candajarago Lake" or "Caniadaraga Lake".

West Canada Creek is an important water way in Hamilton, Oneida, and Herkimer counties, draining the south part of the Adirondack Mountains before emptying into the Mohawk River near the Village of Herkimer. The name "Canada" is derived from an Iroquoian word for "village" (Kanata).
The Canajoharie Creek is a river that flows into the Mohawk River in the Village of Canajoharie in the U.S. State of New York. The name "Canajoharie" is a Mohawk language term meaning "the pot that washes itself", referring to the "Canajoharie Boiling Pot", a 20-foot (6.1 m) wide and 10-foot (3.0 m) deep pothole in the Canajoharie Creek, just south of the village of Canajoharie. Bowmans Creek is one main tributary that enters the creek east of the Hamlet of Sprout Brook. The other main tributary is Brimstone Creek which enters the creek north-northwest of the Village of Ames.
Honnedaga Brook is a stream in the Adirondack Mountains of the U.S. state of New York. It starts at Honnedaga Lake and flows into West Canada Creek about 7 miles (11 km) upstream of Nobleboro, New York.
North Lake is a lake located by Atwell, New York and is the source of the Black River. North Lake is one of several lakes in Herkimer County that has a medium acid content, and is therefore not a big fish producer. The fish species present are tiger muskie, white sucker, perch, and bullhead. Boating is permitted, limited to a small gravel based boat launch in Atwell.
Kayuta Lake is located northwest of Bardwell Mill, New York. Kayuta Lake Campground is located by the Black River inlet. Fish species present in the lake are smallmouth bass, pickerel, white sucker, rock bass, yellow perch, bluegill, and black bullhead. There is a carry down access on the north shore located on State Dam Road.
Clear Lake is located northeast of Stillwater, New York. The outflow creek flows into Witchhopple Lake. Fish species present in the lake are brown bullhead, and brook trout. Access via trail off Red Horse Trail and Salmon Lake Trail on the south shore. No motors are allowed on Clear Lake.
Olmstead Pond is a lake located northeast of Wanakena, New York. The outflow creek flows into Six Mile Creek. Fish species present in the pond are brown bullhead, and brook trout. Access via trail from West Flow Bay of Cranberry Lake on the south shore. No motors are allowed on Olmstead Pond.
Middle Settlement Lake is a lake located west of Thendara, New York. The outlet creek flows into Middle Branch. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and sunfish. There is trail access off Route 28. No motors are allowed on this lake.
Pine Lake is located east of Brantingham, New York. The outlet creek flows into Middle Branch. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, brown trout, black bullhead, white sucker, and sunfish. There is access to the lake via trail on its north and west shore. No motors are allowed on this lake.
Nelson Lake is located south of Minnehaha, New York. The outlet creek flows into Middle Branch Moose River. Fish species present in the lake are white sucker, black bullhead, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and sunfish. Access via trail off unimproved road from Route 28 on the east shore and via the Middle Branch Moose River.
South Lake is a lake located west of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, black bullhead, and white sucker. There is trail access on the southeast shore. No motors are allowed on this lake. South Lake is one of three of the West Canada Lakes that are the source of West Canada Creek.
Cedar Lake is located northwest of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, black bullhead, and white sucker. There is trail access on the north and west shores from Sled Harbor. There is also trail access to Whitney Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.
G Lake is a lake located west of Higgins Bay, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and brown trout. There is carry down off trail from G Lake Road along the west shore. The name is derived from the shape of the body of water, which forms something that resembles a letter “G".
West Creek Lake is a lake located south of Hoffmeister, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and sunfish. There is a trail access to the lake.
Lily Lake is a lake in Fulton County in the U.S. State of New York. It is located southwest of the Hamlet of Canada Lake. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, largemouth bass, black bullhead, rock bass, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed sunfish. There is access via Sprite Creek from Canada Lake.
