South Florida Gay News was a South Florida-based alternative weekly newspaper published by Norm Kent. It was first launched in 2009. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] In May of 2023 the newspaper announced it would be shutting down, following the death of founder Norm Kent. [8] Former staff members launched Out South Florida in June of 2023 to fill the gap that the closing of South Florida Gay News left. [8]
