The Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year is a college softball award given to the Southeastern Conference's most outstanding pitcher. The award has been given annually since 2002.

Monica Abbott of Tennessee has won the award a record three times. The award was shared twice: in 2005 between Monica Abbott and Michelle Green and in 2021 between Montana Fouts and Mary Haff. [1]

Monica Cecilia Abbott is a retired American professional softball player. Abbott was an All-American pitcher for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers in college before starting a professional career in the NPF and in the Japan Softball League. In international competition, she has played for Team USA from 2005 including the national softball team winning a silver medal at the 2008 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Abbott is the NCAA Division I leader in wins, strikeouts, shutouts and innings.

SEC Football Legends is an annual award program of the Southeastern Conference designed to honor outstanding former college football players from each of the conference's fourteen member institutions. Begun in 1994, the Legends Dinner featuring video highlights of each honoree's career is one of various events of the week leading up to the SEC Championship Game. The honorees are also recognized at halftime of the game.

The SEC women's soccer tournament is the conference championship tournament in college soccer for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The tournament has been held every year since 1993. It is a single-elimination tournament with seeding based on conference records and the regular-season champion hosting the semifinal and final matches. The field expanded from four to six teams in its second season, 1994, and then to eight teams in 1996. The current format of 10 teams was adopted in 2012. The winner, declared conference champion, receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I women's soccer championship.

Kelly Katlyn Barnhill is an American professional softball pitcher. She played college softball for the Florida Gators from 2016 to 2019, earning All-American honors during her tenure with the team. She was named the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, Honda Sports Award, and espnW Player of the Year in 2017. She is the career no hitters (7), strikeouts, strikeout ratio (10.5) and WHIP leader for the Gators. She also ranks in career strikeout ratio for both the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA Division I.

Maelynn Skylar Wallace is an American professional softball player for the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball. She played college softball at Alabama and Florida. She was named the NFCA National Player of the Year in 2023.
