Spider-Girl: Family Values (originally known simply as Spider-Girl) is an eight-issue comic book series written by Paul Tobin and drawn by Clayton Henry as the second volume of Spider-Girl . Published by Marvel Comics, spinning out of the events of Grim Hunt , the story revolves around Anya Corazon as she takes on the mantle of Spider-Girl, balancing the daily grind of teenage life with the bumps and bruises brought by banging with bad guys.
In November 2010, a new Spider-Girl series was launched that was unconnected to the MC2 universe series Spider-Girl starring Mayday Parker. The new series featured a new character, Anya Corazon, whose adventures occurred on Earth 616. This monthly Spider-Girl comic debuted on November 17, 2010, [1] as a tie-in to the "Big Time" storyline in The Amazing Spider-Man . [2] The series was canceled after only eight issues, and collected as Spider-Girl: Family Values. No official reason was given for the cancellation. [3]
Spider-Girl: Family Values received good reviews. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
