Critical reception

Split the Atom received critical acclaim from critics. Skiddle gave the album 4 out of 5 stars, saying "Split The Atom works to satisfy even the most fastidious of music fans." [10]

Sputnik Music reviewer Deviant gave the album a 4.5 out of 5 stars, saying "Split The Atom is poised to destroy the lives of clubbers worldwide and invade the senses of anyone brave enough to invest ample time in it." [11]

FabricLive.40 is a 2008 mix album by Dutch electronic dance music trio Noisia. The album was released as part of the FabricLive Mix Series.

Noisia was a Dutch electronic music trio consisting of members Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger from Groningen, Netherlands. They produced a wide variety of music including drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat and house. They released music under labels including Skrillex's Owsla, deadmau5's mau5trap and Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Noisia previously combined with the group Foreign Beggars to form the supergroup side project, I Am Legion. They released their collaborative self-titled album on 2 September 2013. Noisia also has production credits under the pseudonym Nightwatch, such as when they worked with Alexis Jordan, Hadouken!, Wiley and Wretch 32. They produced Hadouken!'s album, For the Masses, that charted at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.

Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is the second extended play (EP) by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released exclusively through Beatport on October 22, 2010, through mau5trap and Big Beat Records, while being released on December 20 for digital download via other online retailers and on March 1, 2011, as a physical release. It was recorded in 2010 at Skrillex's apartment using a laptop. The EP features guest contributions from Pennybirdrabbit, Foreign Beggars and Bare Noize as well as remixes done by Noisia, Zedd and Bare Noize. It won two Grammys at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards: one for Best Dance Recording, and another for Best Dance/Electronica Album.

Mau5trap is a Canadian independent record label founded in 2007 by electronic music producer Deadmau5. The label was formerly a vanity label, hosting releases through labels such as Ultra Music, Virgin Records, and Astralwerks.

"Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" is a song recorded by the American producer Skrillex. It is the second track from his second extended play, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, released on October 22, 2010, through Mau5trap and Big Beat. The song began as a test for the Native Instruments synthesizer FM8 and was the first written for the EP. A dubstep track, critics noted the contrast between the beginning of the song and its drop. In 2012, it was used in multiple media and won the Best Dance Recording category at the 54th Grammy Awards. The song charted in multiple countries and received a double platinum certification in Australia, Sweden, and the United States (RIAA). It has since been named as an influential electronic dance music (EDM) song that brought dubstep to a mainstream audience.

Loadstar were a music production duo from Bristol, United Kingdom. They produced mainly drum and bass, while also working in other genres such as dubstep and electro. The duo consisted of Gavin "Xample" Harris and Nick "Lomax" Hill. They previously produced under the alias Xample & Lomax.

I Am Legion is the self-titled collaborative album by I Am Legion, the side project of Dutch record producers Noisia and British rappers Metropolis and Orifice Vulgatron of Foreign Beggars. The album was released on 2 September 2013 through Division, Owsla and Par Excellence. The album topped the Beatport releases chart within three days of release. The instrumental version of the album, solely produced by Noisia, was released on 29 November 2013. A ten-track remix album featuring Noisia, dBridge, Alix Perez and Phace among others was released on 17 June 2014.

The Boxset is the 6-LP, 7-CD, 2-DVD compilation boxset by the Brazilian electronic musician Amon Tobin, released on 25 May 2012, on Ninja Tune. The Boxset includes Tobin's new music, along with his unreleased dubplates, earliest audio experiments, film and television scores, deleted bootlegs, remixes, cover versions and re-interpretations of Tobin's previous 2011 album ISAM, the ISAM live audio album and DVD, Tobin's remixes for other artists – as well as the recording of the November 2010 orchestrations of Tobin's music by The London Metropolitan Orchestra.
