Sport Coopsol was a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Lima.
Sport Coopsol was founded in 2000 when business group "Grupo Cooperativa Solar (Coopsol)" acquired the club Telefunken 20, which last played in the 1999 Segunda División Peruana season. Under its new name, the club played its first season in the Peruvian Second Division in the 2000 Segunda División Peruana season, where they finished in 8th place out of 13. The club was the 2003 Segunda División Peruana champion and won promotion to the First Division for the 2004 Torneo Descentralizado season. However, Sport Coopsol decided to sell their spot in the Peruvian First Division to Universidad de San Martín de Porres who decided to form their own club, Club Deportivo Universidad de San Martín de Porres.

The Peru First Division, officially known as Liga 1, is the top flight of association football in Peru. It has been referred to as Torneo Descentralizado since 1966, when the first teams residing outside the Lima and Callao provinces were invited to compete in the inaugural league national competition.
Club Deportivo Universidad San Martín de Porres, commonly known as USMP, is a Peruvian football club based in the city of Lima. Their 2006 season in the second division was the most notable as they fought Deportivo Municipal for promotion to the Primera División but they finished second and were not promoted. Universidad San Marcos played its home games at the university's Estadio Universidad San Marcos, located in the center of the National University of San Marcos' main campus in Lima. Due to financial difficulties in 2011, the club withdrew from the second division and folded in 2012 and the Peruvian Football Federation subsequently gave the club a 10-year ban from all competition.
