Squash is a ball sport played by two (singles) or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. The players must alternate in striking the ball with their racquet and hit the ball onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court.

Natalie Grinham Australian squash player

Natalie Marie Grinham is a professional squash player. During her career, she has won three Commonwealth Games Gold Medals, and finished runner-up at both the World Open and the British Open. She reached the World No. 2 ranking in 2007. She represented Australia in international squash competitions up to 2006. She is married to the Dutch squash player Tommy Berden, and took up Dutch citizenship in February 2008. Both Tommy and Natalie became the first husband and wife team to win a joint championship in squash after winning the respective trophies at the inaugural edition of the Tranzparanz Open in June 2006 which was held in Almere, Netherlands.

2013 Games of the Small States of Europe

The 2013 Games of the Small States of Europe, also known as the XV Games of the Small States of Europe, were held in Luxembourg City and surrounding areas. The slogan, as well as the logo, was "Are you ready for the Games?" Hong Kong Open (squash)

The Hong Kong Squash Open is an annual squash tournament held in Hong Kong in November. The tournament has both men and women's sections. The opening sections of the tournament are held at the Hong Kong Squash Centre, while the finals are contested in a glass show court outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

At the 2011 Pan Arab Games, the squash events were held at Khalifa International Complex in Doha, Qatar from 12–15 December. A total of 2 events were contested.

Samantha Cornett, is a professional squash player who represents Canada. She is from Deep River, Ontario. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 28 in May 2014. She won two medals at the 2011 Pan American Games, a gold in the team event alongside Miranda Ranieri, & Stephanie Edmison, and a silver in the singles event. Cornett later won three medals at the 2015 Pan American Games held in Toronto.

Squash at the 2018 Commonwealth Games was held at the Oxenford Studios on the Gold Coast, Australia from April 5 to 15. A total of five events are scheduled to be held, two each for men and women and a mixed doubles event.
