St. Clair Winery is an American wine brand from Deming, New Mexico, founded in 1984. [1] As of January 2020, St. Clair Winery's Mimbres Red is New Mexico's #1 selling wine and is made in the Mimbres Valley in Luna County by the Lescombes family (Lescombes Family Vineyards). The vineyard site used to produce the wine is located 50 miles west of Deming, New Mexico, just east of Lordsburg, New Mexico. It is the largest yielding vineyard in New Mexico and covers 220 acres. The company is owned and operated by Florent, Emmanuel,and Rebecca Lescombes. The Lescombes family has been in the wine industry for six generations, and have made wine across three continents (Algeria, Africa; Burgundy, France, Europe; New Mexico, USA, North America)
St. Clair is also known for its chile-infused wine, Hatch Chile Wines, made with Hatch peppers, for which it was awarded a US$50,000 US Federal grant for value-added agricultural products in 2014. [2]
The Lescombes family's company-owned locations were re-branded under the "D.H. Lescombes" name in Spring of 2019. Besides the D.H. Lescombes Winery & Tasting Room in Deming, there are D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro locations in Albuquerque, and Las Cruces, New Mexico. [3] A location in Santa Fe, Hervé Wine Bar, was opened in 2018.
D.H. Lescombes was named after the fifth generation of the winemaking legacy, Danielle & Hervé Lescombes. A Limited Release selection of D.H. Lescombes wines are made with the finest red varietals grown in their own New Mexico vineyard. Limited Release wines are crafted in small, carefully controlled batches and committed to a two-year French oak maturation process.

New Mexico has a long history of wine production, within American wine, especially along the Rio Grande, from its capital Santa Fe, the city of Albuquerque with its surrounding metropolitan area, and in valleys like the Mesilla and the Mimbres River valleys. In 1629, Franciscan friar García de Zúñiga and a Capuchín friar named Antonio de Arteaga planted the first wine grapes in Santa Fe de Nuevo México, in what would become the modern Middle Rio Grande Valley AVA. Today, wineries exist in the aforementioned Middle Rio Grande Valley, as well as the Mesilla Valley AVA and the Mimbres Valley AVA.
Miguel Torres Chile is a Chilean winery that was founded in Curicó, in 1979, by the Spanish family company Miguel Torres. In its 230 hectares, the Viña Santa Digna vineyard cultivates the varieties Sauvignon blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay and Cabernet sauvignon. To a lesser extent they also cultivate Pinot noir, which contributes to the cuvee of a brut sparkling wine.
The Mimbres Valley AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in southwestern New Mexico near the towns of Deming and Silver City. The AVA includes the Mimbres Watershed of the Mimbres River, and most vineyards are planted at elevations between 4,000 feet (1,200 m) and 6,000 feet (1,800 m) above sea level. The area is a desert, but irrigation and the deep, rich soils of the once-larger Mimbres River have made viticulture possible since the late 19th century.

Brown Estate Vineyards is a wine brand in the St. Helena area of Napa Valley, California, United States. Brown Estate produces multiple varieties of wine including Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Petite Sirah. Brown Estate Vineyards was founded in 1995 by siblings Deneen, David and Coral Brown. The Vineyard produced its first Napa Valley Zinfandel in 1996; this was after the family had been farming grapes and selling them to established winemakers. Brown Estate Vineyard is the first and only Black-owned Estate Winery in Napa Valley.

Nichelini Family Winery is a family-owned winery located in the Chiles Valley District of Napa Valley in California. It is the oldest winery in Napa to have been in the same family's hands since its founding, by winemaker Anton Nichelini in 1890, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its 1886 Homestead Cabin, also on the property and recently restored, is believed to be the only one of its kind remaining in Napa County, and as such was recently placed on the Napa Valley Historical Society's "10 Treasures" list. Ponderosa Valley Vineyards & Winery is an American winery located in Ponderosa, New Mexico, founded in 1982. Its wines have won awards in the Indy International Competition and the Colorado State Fair and New Mexico State Fair wine competitions. Since 1996, the winery has only released vintages which have won multiple bronze, silver and gold medals in formal wine competition.
Noisy Water Winery is an American winery in Ruidoso, New Mexico, founded in 2009 by the Riddle Family. In 2014, its wines won 15 awards at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, including a Double Gold for its Ruidoso Bubbly Moscato, 2 Gold medals, and 5 Silver medals. According to co-owner Jasper Riddle, it is the only winery in Ruidoso that authentically produces its own wines.
