St Brigid's GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Dalystown, County Westmeath, Ireland. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling.
St Brigid's Hurling Club was founded in 1954 but didn't affiliate to the Westmeath County Board until 1957. [1] The club struggled in the early years,[ original research? ] however, senior status was secured for the first time after the Westmeath JHC title was won in 1964. After winning their first Westmeath SHC title in 1968, the club won three successive titles from 1970 to 1972. [2] [3]
A Westmeath SBHC title was won in 1979. St Brigid's regraded to the newly restructured Westmeath IHC in 1994 and went on to claim five titles over the following 20 seasons. [4]

Bridget Cushen was selected on the Kildare camogie team of the century. Current (2011) Kildare senior hurling panellists are Richie Hoban and Martin Fitzgerald.
Raheens is a Gaelic football club based in Caragh, County Kildare, Ireland, winner of the Leinster senior club championship in 1981, 10 county senior football championships, first winners of the Kildare club of the year in 1973 and winners again in 1976. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy.
The Cavan Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top hurling clubs in Cavan. The winners of the Cavan Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Club Championship, the winners of which go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. This championship has never been played on a consistent basis, and has frequently not been completed. In 2010, Mullahoran won the title for the 21st successive year. That run of victories was ended in 2011 when Ballymachugh beat Mullahoran in the final. In 2017, Mullahoran won their first title in four years with a win over Cootehill on a scoreline of 4–19 to 0–05. Cootehill are the current champions, having won the 2022 championship title.

Robert Emmet's Gaelic Athletic Club Slaughtneil is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based on the townland of Slaughtneil, near Maghera, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Anthony Cunningham is a former hurler who has since managed various Gaelic football and hurling teams. He was manager of the Galway county hurling team between 2011 and 2015 and of the Roscommon county football team between 2018 and 2022. He is the only manager to lead a football team and a hurling team to provincial titles in two different provinces.
John Kelly was an Irish hurler. At club level he played with University College Cork, Cappawhite and Kilruane MacDonaghs, and also lined out at inter-county level with various Tipperary teams.

The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. It was the first club championship to be completed in two years as the 2020–21 Championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship began on 27 November 2021 and ended on 12 February 2022.
