Stacia Joseph (born 7 November 1985) is an Australian field hockey coach and former player, [1] who represented the national team.
Joseph made 42 appearances for the national team. [2] She made her international debut in June 2009 against Argentina in the 2009 Women's Hockey Spar Cup, and was later included in the Australian squad for the 2009 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy. [3]
At club level, she played for Southern Storm in 2008. [4] She was later captain of the Victorian Vipers from 2011 to 2015. [5] During that time, the Vipers won the 2012 Australian Hockey League. [5] In 2014, she was named the Victorian Premier League's most valuable player. [6]
In 2016, she became the Victorian Institute of Sport's head hockey coach. [5] During the 2018 Commonwealth Games, she was one of eight female coaches who worked in the Australian Institute of Sport's development program. [2]
Joseph has worked as a physical education teacher. [5] She had a child in 2018. [2]
The Australia women's national field hockey team are, as of January 2019, ranked third in the world. Having played their first game in 1914, and their first Olympic game in 1984 they are one of Australia's most successful sporting teams, boasting three Olympic gold medals, two World Cup gold medals and four Commonwealth Games gold medals. The Hockeyroos have been crowned Australia's Team of the Year five times and were unanimously awarded Best Australian Team at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

The Victorian Vipers are a field hockey team who participate in Australia's national field hockey league, the AHL. The team is predominantly made up of amateurs who participate in the Victorian Premier League competition. The team's home stadium is the Victorian State Netball and Hockey Centre. Since the women's competition was included into the AHL in 1993, the Victorian Vipers have experienced varying levels of success including winning two national championships. These two championships came in the 2003 and 2012 competitions.
Sandra Pisani OAM was an Australian field hockey player who played 85 international games for Australia and was the captain from 1985 to 1987. She competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and was part of the team that won Australia's first Olympic gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Alison Louise Peek, nicknamed "Peeky", is a former field hockey player from Australia, who competed in two Summer Olympics for her native country. She was a member of the Australia women's national field hockey team, best known as the Hockeyroos, that won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics. As well as being an Olympic gold medallist, she won a Commonwealth Games gold medal, two World Cup gold medals, four Champions Trophy gold medals and was named in the Australian Women’s ‘Team of the Century’.
Kate Ruth "Katie" Allen is an Australian field hockey player. She was a member of the Australia women's national field hockey team that won gold medals at Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games and World Cup in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She is a past FIH World Player of the Year.

She debuted for Australia in October, 2011 and announced her retirement in January 2022. Her former club is Churchill HC, Latrobe, Victoria. Wells’ mother influenced her to pick up a hockey stick at age five. After working for Hockey Victoria, Wells decided to join the national squad in Perth in 2011. Some recent competitions Wells participated in include the 2015 World League, 2014 Champions Trophy, 2014 World Cup, 2013 World League and the 2013 Oceania Cup. She was also the reserve Goalkeeper for the London 2012 Olympics, while her first major international tournament was the Junior World Cup in 2009.

Claxton was a member of the Australia women's national field hockey team that were defeated by the Netherlands women's national field hockey team in the final of the 2014 Women's Hockey World Cup, a Gold Medal winner at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and member of the team that went to the 2016 Summer Olympics. She was also named captain of the Hockeyroos in November 2016 for the Tans-Tasman Trophy against New Zealand.
