Stacy Hollowell (born August 1, 1975) [1] is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the New Orleans Privateers men's basketball team. He previously coached for the St. Edward's Hilltoppers, Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, for the Qatar senior and youth national teams, Manama Sports Club, at LCC International University, for the Loyola Wolf Pack, Ole Miss Rebels and Texas Southern Tigers.
Hollowell was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and grew up in Mandeville. [2] He attended Mandeville High School and played four years of basketball. [2] He graduated from St. Edward's University in Texas with a degree in economics in 2001. [3]
Hollowell had coached Biddy Basketball teams while in high school and decided to continue coaching afterwards. [4] While at St. Edward's, he served as a student assistant coach. [4] He later served one season as a volunteer assistant for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, in 2000–01, before returning to St. Edward's as an assistant coach for the 2001–02 season. [5]
Hollowell began coaching overseas in 2003, serving from then until 2006 as an assistant coach for the Qatar men's national basketball team. [6] He helped the team go 111–56 in his tenure there while reaching the 2006 FIBA World Championship, which was the only appearance in their history. [6] [7] He also served briefly as an advanced scout for the China men's national basketball team, helping them win the basketball tournament at the 2006 Asian Games. [8]
Hollowell also coached the Bahrain team Manama Sports Club in 2007, helping them reach the national championship while missing their top player. [6] [9] He then worked as the coach of the basketball team at LCC International University in Lithuania for two years (2007–2008), leading them to the playoffs both seasons. [6] He returned to Qatar as head coach of the national youth team in 2009 and remained there through 2010, before moving back to the United States. [4]
Hollowell joined the Loyola Wolf Pack as an assistant coach in 2011. [10] In his first year, he helped them win the conference title and have their first 20-win season since 1948. [5] He was promoted to head coach in 2014. [5] He ultimately served eight years as head coach and compiled an overall record of 166–78, helping them make their first postseason appearance in 71 years and reaching the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Tournament in five of his last six years. [11] In 2021–22, he directed them to a record of 37–1 and led them to their first national championship since 1945, as they led the country in scoring and steals. [3] He received a number of honors for the season, including being named national Coach of the Year by the NAIA, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and HoopDirt.com, as well as the Don Meyer NAIA Coach of the Year, LABC Louisiana Small College Coach of the Year and Southern States Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. After the 2021–22 season, Hollowell left to be named the associate athletic director for men's basketball for the Ole Miss Rebels. [12] After one year there, he joined the Texas Southern Tigers as assistant coach. [8] He was hired as the head coach of the New Orleans Privateers in April 2024. [13]
Van Winston Chancellor is an American former college and professional basketball coach. He coached University of Mississippi women's basketball, Louisiana State University women's basketball, and the professional Houston Comets. He was named head coach of the Lady Tigers on April 11, 2007, replacing Pokey Chatman. In 2001, Chancellor was elected to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was enshrined as a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September 2007. Chancellor currently serves as an analyst for Southland Conference games on ESPN3.
Edward James Orgeron Jr. is an American football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he held from midway through the 2016 season until the 2021 season. Orgeron previously served as the head football coach at the University of Mississippi from 2005 to 2007 and was the interim head coach at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2013. He led the 2019 LSU Tigers football team to a national championship, beating the defending champions Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Prior to that, he served as head coach of Memphis and New Orleans. Price's daughter is Sports Illustrated model Chanel Iman, who married NFL wide receiver Sterling Shepard in 2017. He is married to the former Jamie Lynn Simms, and the couple has two children - son, Ryan, a college basketball coach who played for his father at McNeese, and daughter, Chanel. He has three granddaughters - Bella Grace Price, Cali Clay Shepard and Cassie Snow Shepard.

Richard Lee Stansbury, is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at the University of Memphis. He was most recently the head coach at Western Kentucky from 2016 to 2023. He was also the head coach at Mississippi State from 1998 to 2012. He is a member of the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Kermit John Davis Jr. is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach for the Ole Miss Rebels from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Middle Tennessee for 16 seasons. His head coaching experience also includes brief stops at Idaho (twice) and Texas A&M.

The 2017–18 Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, their 108th basketball season. They were coached by Andy Kennedy for the first 27 games of the season before he left the position on February 19, 2018. The Rebels named assistant coach Tony Madlock interim head coach for the remainder of the season. The Rebels played their second full season in The Pavilion at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi as members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 12–20, 5–13 in SEC play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the SEC tournament to South Carolina.
The 2017–18 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hilltoppers were led by head coach Rick Stansbury in his second season and played their home games at E. A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky as fourth-year members of Conference USA.
