"I Made It" is a song recorded by American singer Fantasia, featuring American singer-songwriter Tye Tribbett. It was written and produced by Tribbett and David Outing for Fantasia's fifth studio album, The Definition Of... (2016). Tribett developed it in collaboration with Fantasia, blending her personal testimony and his experiences with God into the lyrics. Fantasia described it as a highly personal song, explaining that it was about refusing to let people control her and moving forward from her past struggles. "I Made It" is an uptempo gospel record and its lyrics revolve around an appreciation for God and faith.

The album is inspired by the biblical account of King Jehoshaphat's victory over the Moabite alliance in war by sending out a group of worshipers as a vanguard for his army. The featured worship leaders on the album are Josh Baldwin, Cory Asbury, Jonathan David & Melissa Helser, Bethany Wohrle, Sean Feucht, Emmy Rose, Brian Johnson, Jenn Johnson, Kalley Heiligenthal, Paul McClure, Hannah McClure and Hunter G K Thompson with Molly Skaggs, Daniel Bashta and Harvest as guests. Ed Cash handled the production of the album.
Champion Band is a gospel rock band from Central Ohio. The band was formally founded in 2009 by five members of Amante Lacey and the Life Worship Band, a group formed in 2003. Members are Amante Lacey, Donnell Phillips, Chriss Triplett, Matt Goodloe, and Donnie Reis. Amante Lacey and the Life Worship Band released an EP titled, Champion, in 2008. It was well received by fans and the five core members knew they had something special. This led them to formally create Champion Band. The group toured North American, and gained much success in the Midwest, New York, and Canada. In 2009, they recorded an album in front of a live audience at Greater Grace Temple in Springfield, OH. The album was produced by the five members of Champion at Twelve 3 South Studio in Tipp City, OH, owned by member, Donnie Reis. Their debut LP, Champion Live, was released August 19, 2010.
