Stanislav Pavlovschi (born 24 January 1955) is a lawyer and politician from the Republic of Moldova,one of the founders of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party, [1] an active participant in the social and political life of the Republic Moldova,advocating for protection of human rights and Moldova's adherence to the rule of law in Moldova. From 1962 to 1972 he studied at the Florești school. In 1976 he was enrolled at the Law Institute in Kharkiv,Ukraine,currently the National Law University of Ukraine, [10] which he graduated in 1980 and was awarded the merit distinction.
Between 1980 and 1985,he was employed as an investigator and senior investigator at the Criuleni district prosecutor's office. From 1985 to 2001,he worked as an investigator on exceptional cases,senior investigator on exceptional cases,deputy head of the investigation department for exceptional cases and later deputy chief of the Criminal Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office. From 1996 to 2001,he was a member of the Multidisciplinary Anti-corruption Group,established by the Council of Europe, [13] where he participated in the elaboration of the Civil [14] and Criminal Conventions [15] against corruption.
In 2001 - 2008 he served as a Judge at the European Court of Human Rights. [16]
Since 2008 he is a lawyer at the Union of Lawyers of Moldova. He works in the Associate Law Bureau "Corect",Chisinau,Republic of Moldova. [17] He has participated in several EU projects on reforming the justice sector in Macedonia,Georgia,Azerbaijan,etc. [18] [19]
On 8 June 2019 he was appointed the Minister of Justice within Sandu Cabinet, [20] he resigned from the position on 23 June 2019. Stanislav Pavlovschi mentioned that "When I was working on the Action Plan in the field of Justice,I identified several personal incompatibilities,which,unfortunately,according to the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova make my activity impossible as a Member of the Government... I remain committed to the democratic and pro-European values,promoted by the Dignity and Truth Platform and I will continue to promote them in the position of the deputy chairman of the Political Party Dignity and Truth Platform”. On 16 September 2019 Stanislav Pavlovschi resigned from the position of the deputy chairman of the "Dignity and Truth Platform Political Party,and announce his retirement form the politics. [22] [23]
He hold the honorary title "Om Emerit". [24]
The European Social Democratic Party is a centre-left,populist social-democratic political party in Moldova. Established in 1997,the party holds pro-European views,and is an associate member of the Party of European Socialists (PES) and a full member of the Socialist International. According to its statute,the PSDE pleads that Moldova is an independent,sovereign,and democratic state,based on law,and integrated in the united family of European democracies. Reflecting former leader Marian Lupu's views,but also the strong influence of the Moldovan Orthodox Church,the party is more conservative on social issues,such as LGBT rights.
Dumitru Braghiș is a Moldovan politician,diplomat and economist. He is the current Moldovan Ambassador to China and Vietnam,appointed in mid-2020. He was the Prime Minister of Moldova from 1999 until 2001. Then,he was a member of the Parliament of Moldova,where he represented the Party Alliance Our Moldova. He was chairman of the Party of Social Democracy and deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
Dorin Chirtoacă is a Moldovan politician who served as Mayor of Chișinău from 2007 to 2018. He has been leader of Liberal Party (PL) since 2018.

He was the chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova and previously was member of the Parliament of Moldova in three terms,and served as First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova. Until leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova in 2019,he was considered to be the powerhouse of Moldovan politics in matters of influence,controlling Moldova's government and parliamentary majority. Plahotniuc currently resides in Turkey after fleeing Moldova in June 2019.

Pavel Filip is a Moldovan politician. In 2001–2008 he was the director of the Joint-stock company "Bucuria" and in 2008–2011,general manager of Tutun-CTC joint stock company. He was then Minister of Information and Communication Technology in the Governments headed by Filat (2),Leancă,Gaburici,and Strelețsince 14 January 2011 when he replaced Alexandru Oleinic (2009–2011) and by his investment at the prime minister position on 20 January 2016. He was the deputy chairman of the Democrat Party (DPM). On 7 September 2019 at the IXth Congress of the DPM was elected for the position of the chairman of the Party.
Starting in the spring of 2015,Moldova experienced large-scale protests amid a worsening economic situation and corruption scandals. The protests gained momentum in September,when up to 100,000 people demonstrated in the largest protest since Moldova's independence from the Soviet Union in August 1991.
