Stanton University is a non-profit college founded in 1996. It has two campuses, the main campus in Garden Grove, California, and the secondary campus in Los Angeles, California. [1]
It received accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in 2021. [2]
The Stanton athletic teams are called the Elks. The university is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), primarily competing as an Independent since the 2024–25 academic year.
At some point, its long term goal is to be a dual member of the USCAA and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The university's team colors are navy blue, black, white and gray. [3]
Stanton competes in eight intercollegiate varsity sports: Men's sports include basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; while women's sports include basketball, golf, soccer and tennis.
College of St. Joseph was a Private Roman Catholic liberal arts college in Rutland County, Vermont. It occupied a 117 acres (0.47 km2) wooded campus. Although the college was accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education, it was placed on probation in August 2018 because of the college's financial challenges. It closed at the end of the spring 2019 semester.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) is an association of Christian universities, colleges, and Bible colleges in the United States and Canada whose mission is "the promotion and enhancement of intercollegiate athletic competition with a Christian perspective". The national headquarters is located in Greenville, South Carolina. The NCCAA was formed in 1968. For the 2023–24 season, the NCCAA listed 92 members, 53 of which participate in Division I and 39 in Division II. Many teams in the NCCAA are also in other athletic associations, including the NCAA, NAIA, or ACCA.
