State Institute of Urban Planning and Architecture has been established in the year 2012 to provide quality education in the field of Architecture and Urban Planning. It is located in Rohtak, Haryana and is under the direct supervision of GTIS. [1]
The campus comprises four institutes namely State Institute of Design (SID), State Institute of Film and Television (SIFTV), State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA) and State Institute of Urban Planning and Architecture (SIUPA). These institutes are modelled on the lines of respective apex institutes of national importance. The Campus is being established at a capital expenditure of Rs. 300 crore by the Government of Haryana through Government Technical Institution Society, Rohtak. Each of the four individual institutes is provided with separate institute building and common central facilities including an auditorium, art gallery, knowledge centre and a cafeteria. The campus is designed by internationally renowned architect Raj Rewal and M/s RITES (A Government of India Enterprise) is the project management consultant. [2]
10+2 examination passed or appearing under recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Education/Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with English & Math as compulsory subjects. As per COA norms, the minimum 10+2 aggregate percentage should be 50% or more. Or 3 years diploma recognised by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education (minimum 50% marks) with valid NATA score.

Study tour of SIUPA students to Ahmedabad was conducted in the year 2012. The Students during the tour visited Sabarmati Ashram, Hussain Doshi Gufa, Bhadra Fort, Teen Darwaza, Akshardham Temple, Hathee Singh Temple, Jama Masjid, Indian Institute of Management and National Institute of Design. Study tour of SIUPA students to Chandigarh was conducted in the year 2013 to enlighten them with Architectural and Planning aspects of the India's first planned city. [3]

Panjab University (PU) is an Indian collegiate public state university located in Chandigarh. Funded through both State and Union governments, it is considered a state university. It traces its origins to the University of the Punjab in Lahore, which was founded in 1882. After the partition of India, the university was established on 1 October 1947, and called East Punjab University. Initially housed primarily at a cantonment in Solan, it later relocated to a newly built campus in Chandigarh, and was renamed Panjab University. It is accredited by NAAC at five star level, with the highest NAAC A++ accreditation grade.
Rohtak district is a district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located in the southeast of the state and northwest of Delhi, bounded by Jind and Sonipat districts to the north, Jhajjar and Sonipat districts to the east, and Hissar, Charkhi Dadri, and Bhiwani districts to the west. Rohtak city is the district headquarters.
Sir Chhotu Ram was a prominent politician in British India's Punjab Province, an ideologue of the pre-Independent India, who belonged to the Jat community and championed the interest of oppressed communities of the Indian subcontinent. For this feat, he was knighted in 1937. On the political front, he was a co-founder of the National Unionist Party which ruled the United Punjab Province in pre-independent India and kept Congress and Muslim League at bay. Rohtak is a city and the administrative headquarters of the Rohtak district in the Indian state of Haryana. It lies 70 kilometres (43 mi) north-west of New Delhi and 250 kilometres (160 mi) south of the state capital Chandigarh on NH 9. Rohtak forms a part of the National Capital Region (NCR) which helps the city in obtaining cheap loans for infrastructure development from the NCR Planning Board.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), before 2015 as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), is a public collegiate university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University through the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000. To reduce workload and to ensure proper management, the university was bifurcated into separate universities, Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU) and Mahamaya Technical University (MTU), with effect from 1 May 2010. In 2013, as a new government came into power, the university was formed again by combining the two on 5 January 2013.

In 2014, Lok Sabha passed a bill to make all the three SPAs "centres of excellence" on the pattern of IITs and IIMs.

PDM University is a co-educational private university from the state of Haryana, India. The university has its campus in Bahadurgarh, Delhi NCR. The University has been established by the Haryana State Legislature under the Haryana Private Universities Act No. 32 of 2006, as amended by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment), Act, 2015 and notified in the Haryana Govt. Gazette (Extra) Notification No. Leg.2/2016, dated 14 January 2016. The University has also been recognised by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. The University is established and managed by Prabhu Dayal Memorial Religious & Educational Association (PDMREA).
D. S. Kapoor is an Indian art historian and educator. He completed a bachelor of arts degree at Government College of Arts, Chandigarh (GCA) and began a career as a commercial artist. Later, he moved to art education, teaching at St. John's School. In 1990, he became a faculty member of the GCA, and served as the acting principal of the college from 2009 to 2012. After his retirement, he was appointed the dean of the Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts, and then as an Officer on Special Duty at the National Institute of Design, Kurukshetra.
