State of Conviction formed in 1996 and is an American hardcore punk band with a funk background. The band was spawned from the Unified Culture song "Convictions".

State of Conviction released a split 7-inch vinyl with Schnauzer in November 1996. SOC's side was entitled "Thoughts Light Fires" (a tribute to Charles Manson).

The band then released its album, A Call To Arms in 1997. The album has samples from the movies Natural Born Killers and Taxi Driver , as well as samples from Charles Manson. Two tracks from the album, "Convictions" and "Abandoned", were originally Unified Culture songs. Dwid, from Integrity, does guest vocals on the tracks "Convictions", "Brink of Extinction", and "Faith Diminished".

State of Conviction has a history of only playing once or twice a year, and a great majority of those shows were at the Phantasy or Agora Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. It also has a history of playing shows with the band Schnauzer. SOC played its most recent show on November 23, 2012, at Peabody's Concert Club. At that show, Tom Shaffner and Eric Matthews sat out while Josh Endres of Silver Skull took Tom's spot on guitar and Justin Endres, also of Silver Skull, took Eric's spot on the drums for the song, "In God We Rust." However, this was not the first time that Justin has been seen sitting in on the drums for SOC, he also made a guest appearance on drums with the band in April 2012.

Bleed Like Me 2005 studio album by Garbage

Bleed Like Me is the fourth studio album by American rock band Garbage. It was released worldwide on April 11, 2005, through Warner Music imprint A&E Records, with a North American release on Geffen Records the following day. For this album, the band chose a straight rock sound reminiscent of their live performances instead of the electronica that permeated their previous album Beautiful Garbage (2001). The first recording sessions took place in March 2003, but were mostly unproductive due to passive aggression between band members and a general lack of direction. As they struggled to record the album, Garbage quietly split for four months starting in October 2003. They reunited under producer John King in Los Angeles and, following a guest appearance by Dave Grohl on "Bad Boyfriend", they found a renewed focus on production. Garbage recruited drummer Matt Walker and bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen for new recording sessions and completed the album by late 2004.

The Manson Family Album Demo album by Marilyn Manson

The Manson Family Album is the first studio recording by American rock band Marilyn Manson and a precursor to their debut studio album, 1994's Portrait of an American Family. It was produced by Roli Mosimann and is composed of original takes and mixes of songs which were later found on their debut album. However, the band and its eponymous vocalist were unhappy with Mosimann's production, claiming it to be poorly representative of their established sound and calling it too "smoothed and polished". The majority of songs on The Manson Family Album were later re-recorded or remixed by Nine Inch Nails personnel Trent Reznor, Sean Beaven and Alan Moulder at the Record Plant in Los Angeles. The album's title is a double entendre; it also relates to the commune of cult leader Charles Manson.
