Stefan Rullin Keeltjes (born 17 September 1985) is a former Indonesian professional footballer who currently serves as head coach of Gresik United in Liga 2. He has an AFC A License for coaching. [1]

Personal life

Stefan is the son of Rudy William Keeltjes, a former Indonesian national team player. [2] He is of Dutch descent on his father's side. [3]

Professional career

While still active as a footballer, he played for Persebaya Surabaya and Indonesia U23. [4]

Coaching career

Persid Jember

In 2018, he became the head coach of Persid Jember for the 2018 Liga 3 season. [5]

Semeru

In 2019, he coached Semeru in the 2019 Liga 2 season. [4]

PON East Java

He was appointed as head coach of the PON East Java football team at the 2021 Papua Sports Week. At that time, the PON East Java team managed to get bronze. [4]

Persikab Bandung

Stefan is the head coach of the Persikab Bandung in for 2022–23 Liga 2 season. [6] He became head coach, while his father, Rudy William Keeltjes, became technical director. [7]

Bali United

In mid-May 2023, he was officially appointed as assistant coach of Bali United under the coaching of Stefano Cugurra for the 2023–24 Liga 1 season. [4]

Gresik United

In July 2024, he was officially introduced by Gresik United as head coach for the 2024–25 Liga 2 season. [8]
