Stefan Lassen (born 1 November 1985) is a Danish professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for Almtuna IS in the HockeyAllsvenskan (Allsv).
Lassen began his career in Danish side Herning Blue Fox where he won the Danish Championship in 2007 and 2008. He moved to Sweden in 2009 with Leksands IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan before joining Elitserien club Djurgårdens IF the following season on 31 May 2010. [1]
After a season stint in the EBEL with Austrian club Graz 99ers, Lassen moved to Finland signing a two-year contract with the Lahti Pelicans of the Liiga on 27 March 2015. [2]
Lassen played for three years with the Pelicans, captaining the club in the 2017–18 season, before leaving the club to sign an initial one-year contract with Swedish club Almtuna IS of the HockeyAllsvenskan, on 19 September 2018. [3]
Lassen has participated in two IIHF World Championships before joining Leksands IF in May 2009. [4] Lassen was named for the Danish team again in the 2010 IIHF World Championship. He scored the game-winning goal against USA in the preliminary round. [5]

The Swedish Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season.

Jacob Peter Josefson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey centre who last played for Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). After Josefson began playing hockey at the age of five, he was acquired by Djurgården's youth organization at the age of ten, where he also began playing junior hockey in 2005. Josefson made his Elitserien debut on 28 February 2008, against Timrå IK, and became a regular member of Djurgården's senior team. His achievements in the Swedish Elitserien drew attention from NHL and he was selected in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils, 20th overall. Josefson played with Djurgården for an additional season, before signing with the Devils in May 2010 and played for them until 2017 when he left for the Buffalo Sabres.

The 2012–13 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the 8th season of the HockeyAllsvenskan, the second-highest level of ice hockey in Sweden. The regular season began on 12 September 2012 and ended on 2 March 2013, with the following playoffs and Kvalserien tournaments running until 5 April 2013. Leksands IF, following a season marked by financial instability and scandal, secured first place in the regular season standings, and continued to the qualification round for the 2013–14 SHL/Elitserien season, along with second-place Södertälje SK, third place VIK Västerås HK, and playoff winner Örebro HK. Meanwhile, 13th- and 14th-ranked Tingsryds AIF and Karlskrona HK were forced to defend their places in HockeyAllsvenskan for the 2013–14 season.
