Stefanie Claire Zadravec (born 1968) is an American playwright. Her full-length plays include Tiny Houses, Colony Collapse, The Electric Baby, Honey Brown Eyes, and Save Me. She has won numerous awards including the Helen Merrill Emerging Playwright Award, [1] Francesca Primus Prize, [2] and the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding New Play. Zadravec, of Slovenian descent, was born in Washington, D. C., and grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland. [5] As a child, Zadravec and her friends performed plays while playing at her house. She continued performing while attending school. [6] Zadravec attended Connecticut College where she received a B.A. in theater and English. [7] [8]

Angelo Parra is an American playwright. He was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx, New York City. After graduating from Fordham University, his career included work as a reporter/photographer, public relations professional, politician, free-lance writer, and PR and journalism teacher at New York University before turning to theatre in 1986. His first produced play, Casino, was presented at T. Schreiber Studio, and won a 1989 New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Fellowship in Playwriting and an Arts International grant.

She was a Lark Fellow as well as a Dramatist Guild Fellow in 2010–11. She was also a cast member of the Neo-Futurists in New York. Hutchinson was a staff writer for the Blue Man Group. She has been a member of New Dramatists for four years. Currently she is a Humanitas Fellow and the Tow Foundation Fellow at Second Stage. Hutchinson teaches creative writing at the University of Delaware. Most recently her play Somebody's Daughter was included on the 2017 Kilroys List which includes un-produced plays by female and trans playwrights.

Martyna Majok is a Polish-born American playwright who received the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her play Cost of Living. She emigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in New Jersey. Michael (Mike) Lew is a Chinese-American playwright most renown for his works Teenage Dick, and Tiger Style!. He acquired his B.A. at Yale University in 2003, double majoring in Theatre (directing) and English (writing), then proceeded to get his artist diploma in playwriting at the Juilliard school in 2003. He is the co-director of Ma-Yi Writers Lab, the largest theatre company in the United States that aims to help Asian American writers produce and develop plays, and is on a 3-year fellowship at Ma-Yi through the Mellon Foundation.
