Stefano Palmieri (born 18 September 1964) is a Sammarinese politician,who served as a Captain Regent of San Marino together with Matteo Ciacci from 1 April 2018 to 1 October 2018. He had previously served in the same position for the semester from 1 October 2009 to 1 April 2010,alongside Francesco Mussoni. [1]
Member of the Popular Alliance (Alleanza Popolare),Palmieri has been in the Grand and General Council since 2006. He was one of the founders of "Movimento Biancoazzurro" which merged into Alleanza Popolare in 2005.
Palmieri is a certified accountant,married and father of two sons.

San Marino,officially the Republic of San Marino and also known as the Most Serene Republic of San Marino,is a European microstate and enclave within Italy. Located on the northeastern side of the Apennine Mountains,it is the fifth-smallest country in the world,with a land area of just over 61 km2 and a population of 33,660 as of 2022.
The Republic of San Marino's public transport network consists of a local bus network and the Funivia di San Marino,an aerial cablecar system between Borgo Maggiore and the City of San Marino. Both means are operated by the Azienda Autonoma di Stato per i Servizi Pubblici,the Sammarinese state company for public transport.
The Popular Alliance was a liberal-centrist political party in San Marino. The party formed a coalition with the Union for the Republic for the 2016 Sammarinese general election,and following their electoral success the two parties created a new party,Future Republic.
Lesbian,gay,bisexual,and transgender (LGBT) people in San Marino may face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents. Both male and female same-sex sexual activity are legal in San Marino,but households headed by same-sex couples are not eligible for the same legal protections available to opposite-sex couples.
The Misano World Circuit is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Originally designed in 1969 as a length of 3.488 km (2.167 mi),it hosted its first event in 1972. In 1993,the track length was increased to 4.064 km (2.525 mi).

Oscar Mina is a Sanmarinese politician,who served as Captain Regent of San Marino with Paolo Rondelli from 1 April to 1 October 2022. He previously served as Captain Regent from 1 April 2009 to October 2009 together with Massimo Cenci.

Francesco Mussoni is a Sammarinese politician and was a Captain Regent of San Marino together with Stefano Palmieri from 1 October 2009 to 1 April 2010 and a second time together with Giacomo Simoncini from 1 October 2021 to 1 April 2022.

San Marino participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014,held in Copenhagen,Denmark. The Sammarinese national broadcaster Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino (SMRTV) internally selected Valentina Monetta with "Maybe" to represent the nation in the contest. Monetta had previously represented San Marino in both the 2012 and 2013 contests,though both entries failed to qualify for the grand final. The 2014 entry was promoted through the creation of music videos in both English and Italian,and a promotional tour that included stops in Amsterdam,Moscow and London. San Marino performed 12th in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014,held on 6 May 2014,and placed 10th,receiving 40 points. The entry qualified for the grand final held four days later,where the nation placed 24th with 14 points. This marked their best placing to this point.

The Sammarinese national broadcaster Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino (SMRTV) internally selected Sammarinese singer Valentina Monetta and American singer Jimmie Wilson with "Spirit of the Night" to represent the nation in the contest. Monetta had previously represented San Marino as a solo artist on three previous occasions. The 2017 entry in the Eurovision Song Contest was promoted through the creation of a music video and promotional performances in Tel Aviv,Amsterdam and Madrid. San Marino performed 10th in the second semi-final,held on 11 May 2017,and placed 18th with one point,failing to qualify for the final.

The party has been a member of the European People's Party (EPP) since its foundation,having inherited the membership of the NCD.
