Francesco Mussoni (born 15 May 1971) is a Sammarinese politician and was a Captain Regent of San Marino together with Stefano Palmieri from 1 October 2009 to 1 April 2010 and a second time together with Giacomo Simoncini from 1 October 2021 to 1 April 2022. [1] [2]
Mussoni as a member of the Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party (PDCS),was in the Grand and General Council from 2001 to 2006 and since November 2008. [3] During his second tenure in office he has become a group leader for the PDCS. [4] [5]
Mussoni is a lawyer (avvocato e notaio). He had studied law at the University of Bologna.
San Marino is an independent and sovereign member of the international community. It maintains an extensive diplomatic network relative to its diminutive size,as well as an active foreign policy and international presence.

The 2007–08 Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio season was the twenty-third since its establishment. The regular season started on September 21,2007 and ended on April 20,2008. The playoff competition,in which the top three clubs from each girone competed for the national title and qualification for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League next season,started on May 7,2008 and ended with the final on June 3,2008. S.S. Murata successfully defended their title for the second time,winning their third straight national title,and winning qualification,beating out Juvenes/Dogana in the final.

San Marino performed 12th in the first semi-final,held on 10 May 2011,and placed 16th,receiving 34 points and failing to qualify for the grand final.
