Stelrad is a British-based manufacturer of central heating radiators. Its Elite radiator is the most popular radiator in the United Kingdom.

History

Founded in 1936 as the Steel Radiators company in Southall, London. [1] [2] It now makes products for central heating systems. It opened a factory in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway, in 1961, which closed in 1998. [3] [4]

Structure

It is situated off the A6022 in Swinton, between the railway stations of Swinton and Mexborough. It has a seventeen-acre site.

The R&D site is in Belgium.[ citation needed ]

A back boiler is a device which is fitted to a residential heating stove or open fireplace to enable it to provide both room heat and domestic hot water or central heating. The device is a water filled heat exchanger enclosed at the rear of the burning chamber with a hot water output at the top of the chamber and a cold water feed at the bottom.

Ginetta G15

The Ginetta G15 was a British sports car made by the Ginetta company in Witham, Essex between 1968 and 1974. The car was initially available only in kit form but later some factory built examples were available. It was launched at the 1967 London Motor Show.
