Stephanie Smith is an American contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter. She is signed to Gotee Records. [2] Her first studio album, Not Afraid , was released on May 27, 2008, digitally and in stores on December 23, 2008. She received national attention on the Winter Wonder Slam tour with TobyMac.

Biography

Stephanie Smith graduated from Greenville College in Illinois in 2006. It was at Greenville College that she first met Gotee Records manager TobyMac, while performing at the annual AgapeFest. Toby then signed her to the record label. She has written a book with Suzy Weibel titled Crossroads: The Teenage Girl's Guide to Emotional Wounds, which was released on June 1, 2008. [3] She is featured on the House of Heroes song "God Save Us the Foolish Kings" which was released in 2011. [4] In November 2012, Smith married House of Heroes frontman, Tim Skipper. [5] The two started creating their own music under the name Copperlily and released Love Is a Legend in 2014. [6]

Personal life

Stephanie's work has often been driven by the pain caused by the lack of a relationship with her father, whom she loved dearly but was absent from her life from a very early age. She performed "Piece by Piece" on NBC's The Voice as a tribute to her experience. [7] Stephanie's father passed away in October 2020. [8]

House of Heroes American alternative rock band

House of Heroes are an alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. They have released six albums: What You Want Is Now (2003), House of Heroes (2005), The End Is Not the End (2008), Suburba (2010), Cold Hard Want (2012), and Colors (2016). The band also released the album Ten Months (2001) under their original name, No Tagbacks, which had more of a punk sound than their releases as House of Heroes. They also re-released their self-titled record under the name of Say No More (2006). The band was last composed of Tim Skipper, Colin Rigsby, A.J. Babcock, Jared Rigsby, and Eric Newcomer.

Brian James Reith, better known as B. Reith, is a Christian hip hop/pop singer and rapper. He began his musical career with the release of his first album, "Urgent Message", in 2003. In 2008, Reith signed to Gotee Records and released his EP The Forecast. Later that year, he toured with TobyMac on the Winter Wonder Slam tour. In September 2009, Reith released his second album, Now Is Not Forever, which charted at No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 32 on the Heatseekers chart. The album spawned the singles "Antidote", which peaked at No. 50 on the Christian Songs chart, and "The Comeback Kid".

<i>Suburba</i> 2010 studio album by House of Heroes

Suburba is the fourth full-length album by the band House of Heroes. They went into Dark Horse Recording Studio on February 1, 2010, to record it with producer Mark Lee Townsend. It was released on August 3, 2010, through Gotee Records. On April 5, the band premiered two songs on the Eastern American Radio Network titled "RadioU": "Elevator" and "Constant". On April 18, 2010, the mixing for the album was completed.

Jamie Grace American rapper

Jamie Grace Harper is an American contemporary Christian musician, singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress from Atlanta, Georgia. In 2010, TobyMac found her songs on YouTube and signed her to his label Gotee Records for two albums. She released the song "Hold Me" in 2011 which landed her a nomination at the 2012 Grammys and won the 2012 Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.

Hold Me is the debut EP by the American Christian hip hop artist, Jamie Grace. In addition to TobyMac being featured in the title track, the EP was produced by TobyMac and was released on his label, Gotee Records. "Into Jesus", listed as the second track, is a cover of a 1998 DC Talk song.

Abandon Kansas is an American alternative rock band originating from Wichita, Kansas that formed in 2005 and went on indefinite hiatus in 2015. The band has rebranded to Glass Age in 2019 and is making new music.

Capital Kings was an American pop, EDM and Christian pop act. The group went on indefinite hiatus on January 3, 2018. The group originally consisted of producer and rapper Cole Walowac and singer Jon White, who was later replaced by Dylan Housewright.

I Feel So Alive is the debut EP by Christian electronic dance music band Capital Kings. The album was released as a digital download on September 25, 2012 and with Gotee Records. The EP contains three songs that were later released on Capital Kings' self titled album and a remix.

Ryan Stevenson (singer) American Christian musician and guitarist

Ryan Dale Stevenson is an American Christian musician and guitarist, who primarily plays a contemporary Christian music and worship style of music. His record label is Gotee Records, co-owned by Christian music artist TobyMac. He released three extended plays, Yesterday, Today, Forever, with BEC Recordings, Champion of the World, independently, and Hold Nothing Back, with Gotee Records. His first studio album, Fresh Start, was released on September 18, 2015, with Gotee Records. He's had five songs chart on the Billboard charts, "Holding Nothing Back", "The Human Side", "Not Forgotten", "All Yours" and "Eye of the Storm".

Hollyn American Christian singer/songwriter

Holly Marie Wilson, known by her stage name Hollyn, is an American Christian music singer and songwriter. Hollyn sings a mixture of pop, R&B, and Christian music. She was a contestant on American Idol during season 12, where she made it to the Hollywood rounds. She released her EP, Hollyn, in 2015, and the album One-Way Conversations in 2017 and Bye, Sad Girl, in 2019, both with Gotee Records. Hollyn often sings with Tobymac.
