Stephen Ip Shue-kwan,GBS,JP (born 1951) is a former politician in Hong Kong,he was Secretary for Economic Development and Labour for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 2002 to 2007.
The post of Secretary for Economic Development and Labour is a political appointment. Ip was Secretary for Economic Services in June 1996 under Chris Patten's colonial administration,until he took up his last civil service post of Secretary for Financial Services in June 2000. In 2005,he proposed a 25–50% decrease in port fees to increase Hong Kong's competitiveness in the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. [1]

Ip Man,also known as Yip Man,was a Hong Kong-based Cantonese martial artist and a grandmaster of the martial art of Wing Chun when he was 20. He had several students who later became martial arts masters in their own right,the most famous among them being Bruce Lee.

Kai Tak Cruise Terminal is a cruise ship terminal on the former Kai Tak Airport runway in Hong Kong. Its completion date was delayed into 2013 due to re-tendering. Following an international competition,Foster + Partners was chosen to design the cruise terminal. The first ship berthed on 12 June 2013. The terminal has the capacity to berth two large 360-metre (1,180 ft) long vessels,which carry a total of 5,400 passengers and 1,200 crew,as well as anticipating the demands of cruise liners currently on the drawing board.

The Fifth Legislative Council of Hong Kong was the fifth meeting of the legislative branch of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. The membership of the LegCo is based on the 2012 election. The term of the session is from 1 October 2012 to 30 September 2016,during the term in office of the Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying. Due to the new arrangements agreed in a contentious LegCo vote in 2010,the session consists of the new total of 70 seats in LegCo,ten more than previously,with 35 members elected in geographical constituencies through direct elections,and 35 members in functional constituencies,in which five District Council (Second) functional constituency seats each represent all 18 District councils of Hong Kong voted for by all resident voters in Hong Kong. The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong remained the largest party while the pan-democrats secured the one-third crucial minority. Notable new members of the LegCo members include Gary Fan from the new established party Neo Democrats and first openly gay councillor,People Power's Ray Chan Chi-chuen.
The 2017 Hong Kong Chief Executive election was held on 26 March 2017 for the 5th term of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong (CE),the highest office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Former Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam beat former Financial Secretary John Tsang and retired judge Woo Kwok-hing,receiving 777 votes from the 1,194-member Election Committee.
Ip Man:The Final Fight is a 2013 Hong Kong biographical martial arts film directed by Herman Yau,starring Anthony Wong,Anita Yuen,Jordan Chan,Eric Tsang and Gillian Chung. It is based on the life of the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man. This film is the sequel of The Legend Is Born:Ip Man but has no connection to the earlier Ip Man films,such as Wilson Yip's Ip Man and Ip Man 2,and Wong Kar-wai's The Grandmaster.
