Stephen Kafoury (born October 4,1941) is an American politician in the U.S. state of Oregon. He served in the Oregon House of Representatives and State Senate. [1] He is a lawyer,having attended Lewis &Clark Law School,Whitman College,and Reed College. [2] [3]

Portland began using a commission form of government in 1913 following a public vote on May 3 of that year. Each elected official serves a four-year term,without term limits.
