Elisabeta Lipă is a retired rower and government official from Romania. She is the most decorated rower in the history of the Olympics, winning five gold, two silver and one bronze medals. She holds the record amongst rowers for the most years between gold medals, at 20 years.

Annekatrin Thiele is a German rower. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won a silver medal in double sculls with Christiane Huth. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she again won a silver medal, this time in the women's quadruple sculls. She has also twice won World Championship gold, both times in the women's quadruple sculls. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she competed in women's quadruple sculls competition in which the German team won the gold medal.
Wyatt Allen is an American rower. He won a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He is a graduate of Portland High School and the University of Virginia, where he rowed on the men's club team from 1998 to 2001. He is currently the head coach of men's heavyweight rowing at Dartmouth College.

Nathan Phillip Cohen is a New Zealand rower. He is a two-time world champion, and won a gold medal in the Olympics. In 2006, rowing a single scull, he won a gold medal at the World University Games. In doing so, he became the first New Zealander to win a gold medal at the World University Games in any sport. Cohen and his rowing partner, Joseph Sullivan, won back-to-back gold medals in the men's double sculls at both the 2010 and 2011 World Rowing Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he and his partner won the gold medal in the men's double sculls, after breaking the Olympic best time in the heats. In 2013, Cohen was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to rowing.

He won the gold medal in the quadruple sculls at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, setting a new world's best time. He has won a gold, two silvers and a bronze in the quadruple sculls at European level.
Jack Beaumont is a retired British rower. He is the silver medallist at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Men's quadruple sculls. He also won a silver medal at the World Championships.
